PROJECT TITLE: TEMPORARY FACILITIES

LOCATION: FISHPORT COMPLEX, TAMBLER GENERAL SANTOS CITY

ELECTRICAL WORKS

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

1.0 GENERAL CONDITION

1.1 THE PROJECT INCLUSION COMPRISE THE FOLLOWING

1.1.1 Supplying/Furnishing all materials, labor, equipment


and other necessary facilities.
1.1.2 Necessary and incidental works in the satisfactory
performance to complete the desired project as shown
on the plans, drawing and its details.

2.0 WIRING AND LIGHTING FIXTURES INSTALLATION

2.1 DESCRIPTION

2.1.1 Furnishing, placing and installation of wires, lighting’s


and its fixtures, switches, convenience outlets and
special outlets.

2.2 MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS

2.2.1 Shall be brand new and of approved type subject to


the inspection of a licensed Electrical Engineer or
Registered Electrical Engineer.
2.2.2 Lamps, lighting’s and its fixtures should be as
described and specified on the plan, drawings and
details.
2.2.3 Switches number shall be determined on plan details;
make shall be of insulating material such that it can
isolate the electrical current effectively, can make and
break the flow of current in the load with relative ease.
2.2.4 Convenience outlet shall be of make that it can
translate/transfer the power it can supply to the
desired load without loss of energy thru voltage drop.
2.2.5 Special outlets serving special load such as range
outlet, air con outlets and other outlet of special
purpose shall be of make and purpose that fit as
specified and describe not only on plans details and
drawing but also in PHILIPPINE ELECTRICAL CODE
PART I and PART II.

2.3 WIRING INSTALLATION


2.3.1 In pulling of wires, see to it that wires will not be cut
damaged and turned.
2.3.2 Splicing of wires shall be tightly done, so as not to
induce voltage drop, inter-lapping as much as possible
up to three inches in both wires.
2.3.3 The tapped/spliced wires shall be insulated with rubber
tape first and finished with electrical tape.

2.4 LIGHTING FIXTURES INSTALLATION

2.4.1 Surface mounting should be securely fastened,


screwed/attached to the ceiling such that at no time
and condition it will be pulled down.
2.4.2 Recessed type mounting is installed above the ceiling
line so that it is securely mounted.

3.0 PANEL BOARD MOUNTING/INSTALLATION

3.1 DESCRIPTION

3.1.1 Furnishing, placing and installation/construction of


Panel Board, Gutter and Raceways of sizes, type
length and make as shown on the plan
detailed drawing and or Philippine Electrical Code I and
II.

3.2 MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS

3.2.1 Shall be brand new and of approved type subject to


the inspection of a licensed Professional Electrical
Engineer or Registered Electrical Engineer.

3.2.2 Panel Board must be of standard size, type and make


so that conductors like
bus bar and wires is properly insulated and dissected
including circuit breaker from themselves and free of
any contacts to the steel frame at any given
circumstance except in force majeure thru paints,
maxilla and (paint) protection.

3.2.3 Copper bus bar must be of a hard drawn copper


properly insulated against and from the steel frame
thru insulators and insulating the frame. Panel Board
must be of grounding provision.

3.2.4 Gutter used in conjunction with the panel board must


be of G.I.

3.2.5 Panel Board must have prepared holes readily


available for practical dimensions of
any sizes of pipes to get through. Not only that, but
holes for bolts beholden the whole assembly.

3.3 INSTALLATION

3.3.1 Panel Boards shall be mounted safely at EE RM or in


any areas readily accessible to qualified personnel
only.

3.3.2 Panel Board is located at the average eye level on the


center of an observer.

3.3.3 Branch Circuit Breakers when mounted is on


lower rating from the left and higher rating running to
the right if in horizontal arrangement for
vertical hierarchy, lower rating is on top of the higher rating.

3.3.4 Main Circuit Breakers when installed at the panel Board


shall be at the center top for center main and
upper left for side main.

3.3.5 Use adaptors in every size of pipes that enters the panel
board for pipe termination. Whenever the number of
pipes used is exceeding or more than the number
of prepared holes in the panel board, means has to be
provided to cater all the terminating pipes for the
PNLBD.

3.3.6 In finishing the circuit wiring at the panel board plastic


ties or any other type of ties shall be used to
bundle nicely the wires and so arranged that
wires are neatly fixed and not topsy-turvy
that circuit wires locating is hardly find.
