1. Define what is a typhoon.
2. Illustrate the scenario during the strike of typhoon through
acting.
3. Share experiences during the struck of a certain typhoon
that they have encountered.

What is Typhoon?

A typhoon is a tropical cyclone that forms in
the northwestern Pacific Ocean and is
characterized by strong winds, heavy rain,
and low atmospheric pressure.

Differentiate the typhoon, hurricane, and


tropical cyclones.

Hurricanes, cyclones and typhoons are all
essentially the same thing. All three are
storm systems with winds exceeding
119km/h (74mph). The name differs based on
where in the world the storm happens.

A typhoon is a tropical cyclone that forms
when warm, moist air from the ocean rises
into a low-pressure system, creating a storm
that spins around a central eye.
