Rigs and Well Control

Requirements Confirm
Compliance
Drill String The Contractor shall have detailed and implemented well N/A
Testing testing procedures.

Technical All drilling rigs (onshore or offshore) shall have a valid N/A
Integrity certificate validating the structural integrity.

Third Party A detailed technical audit report must be available for the N/A
Audits rig, dating no more than 12 months.

Evidence must be available of close out of the most N/A


significant non-conformances identified during the last
technical integrity rig audit.
General A functional wind sock shall be located in close proximity to N/A
the rigs.
Blow Out All rigs shall be equipped with certified blow out preventers N/A
Preventers

Audit reports on technical integrity of the blow out preventer N/A


shall be available.
For all HPHT wells and for deep-water offshore wells, the
BOP shall be subject to an audit by a third party.
A detailed blow out contingency plan shall be available. N/A
The Contractor shall be aware of Company rig procedures N/A
and follow them closely. Reference procedure: Drilling and
Operations Manual (Feb 2000) See annex 3.
