Subject: Filling up the 01 No. post of Upper Division Clerk (UR) in the pay tevel-4 as per 7th
CPC under Limited Departmental Competitive Examination Quota at ICAR-CISH,
Lucknow -reg.

Applications are invited for filling up one post of Upper Division Clerk (UR) to be filled up
at ICAR-CISH, Lucknow under Limited Departmental Competitive Examination quota from
amongst the eligible departmental candidates only. The Lower Divison Clerks having five (05)
years regular service as on 01.07.2024 in Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP of Rs. 19001
(Level-2 as per 7th CPC Rs. 19900-63200) are eligible for the above (Where junior who have are
completed their qualifying or eligibility service are being considered for promotion, their senior
shall also be considered for promotion to next higher grade provided that they are not short of the
requisite qualifying service by more than half of such qualifying or eligibility service or two years,
whichever is less and have successfully completed their probation period along with their junior
who have already completed such qualifying or eligibility service. The desirous candidate who
are appear in the aforesaid examination may apply/submit their application in prescribed
apptication form (Proforma enclosed) through their respective ln-Charges to the undersigned
latest by 24J0.2024. Applications received after the due dates are liable to be rejected.

Paper-l Syllabus enclosed.
Paper-ll

For promotion to the above post, it will be mandatory for the candidate to score at least
35% marks in each paper with aggregate 40% marks in the examination. Candidates are allowed
the option to answer all the aforesaid twg papers in English or in Hindi (Devanagri). The question
papers will be set in both English and Hindi. The option will be the same for all the two papers
mentioned above and not for different papers or different question in the same paper. Candidates
desirous of exercising the option to answer the aforesaid papers in Hindi (Devanagri) should
indicate their intention to do so in the application form otheruvise it would be assumed that he/she
would answer all the paper in English. The option once exercised shall be treated as final and no
request for alteration in the said columns shall be entertained. The copy of syllabus and plan of
examination is also enclosed. The all other terms & conditions enclosed vide ICAR, K.B. New
Delhi letter [Link].33(7)12012-Estt.l dated 27.11.2012 are also applicable.
The candidates should keep themselves ready for the examination at a short notice. No
request for extension of time will be considered. The dates (s) & time of the examination will be
intimated in the due course of time. The Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE)
will be held at ICAR-CISH, Lucknow only. The application received after closing date or
incomplete in any respect will not be entertained.
