3. Read the text “A Trip to Moratalla”. Then, underline all the comparative adjectives you find.

Last weekend, we went on a trip to Moratalla, a beautiful town in the region of Murcia. Moratalla
is surrounded by nature, with mountains and rivers everywhere!

The mountains around Moratalla are higher than the hills near my house. Some of the rivers are
wider than others, but all of them are very beautiful and clear. We visited a lake near the town,
and it was much deeper than I expected. I could see fish swimming below the surface, and the
water looked so calm!

On the way back, we stopped by a waterfall. It wasn’t as tall as some waterfalls I’ve seen in
pictures, but it was more powerful and the sound of the water was amazing. Afterwards, we
drove through a desert area near the town. It was drier than the mountains, and the air felt much
hotter. The ocean is far from Moratalla, but we learned that the oceans are much larger than
lakes or rivers.

It was an exciting day! Moratalla is a place where you can see many different landscapes, from
high mountains to wide rivers, and even the dry desert. Each place is unique and special in its
own way.
