En off (narrador, Sílvia):
“Sweet Nicole is one of the most famous candy stores of the world, known for its
unique chocolate, which is made with an especial procedure.
-Nicole is the proprietary of the store, she is a chef-artist who was a special talent
creating figures that represent famous monuments around the world.
-Ms Daniela is her main assistant, and also the second-best cook, just after Nicole.
She is the one that takes care of making the chocolate, and because of that she has
to keep the secret of its recipe, which lots of chefs around the world have tried,
repeatedly times, to discover it.
-Silvia is a well-known taster who has come all the way from the USA, just to prove
Nicole’s sculptures, as she is looking for the world’s best candy shop which will win a
treasured contest for lots of chefs.
Sílvia en off, mientras Nicole i Daniela hacen lo que pone:
Nicole and Daniela are waiting for Sílvia to arrive impatiently, meanwhile they are
putting the products in the counter. Just after they finished, Silvia enters the shop:
Silvia: Hello, good morning ladies! Wow, there are so many costumers waiting
outside!
Daniela and Nicole: Hi (They say at the same time)
(Nicole continues)
Nicole:You must be Mrs de la Vega, we are very pleased to have you here!!!!!!
Silvia:Thank you, you must be Nicole, the owner. Please call me Sílvia! (give hand
and then looks at Daniela) And I suppose that you are the one I talked with the other
day.
Daniela:Yes, Daniela. Nice to meet you. (Shake hands) About the people outside,
it’s because this week we are on sales! We’re offering discounts, so we can sell off
and renew our counter with new products!
Silvia: Oh, that’s really nice from you. Wow, this is such a beautiful place! I suppose
this is an independent shop… Or have you got another store anywhere?
Nicole: Ow, thank you! You are correct in both, haha!. But yes, although being
offered by some companies to found a chain store to sell more of our chocolate, we
have preferred to stay where we are!
Sílvia: Oh, that’s such a wise decision! Better quality rather than quantity, they say!
Daniela: Hahaha! Then, if you want to start, we could show you our tiny local.
Silvia: Of course, please!
(The three of them go to another room→ kitchen)
Daniela: Here is our most priced room: the kitchen, where we prepare our famous
chocolate.
Nicole: Yes! Here is where the magic takes place ;) (wink while points at the locked
box)
Sílvia: Aaaaaah, haha! So, what’s the routine you follow to prepare the chocolate?
Daniela: Well, here I’m the main responsable for making the chocolate, so my job is
to control everything is okay and help my coworkers to do their job! Appart from
keeping our most sacred secret: the key ingredient. Disgracefully, I can’t tell you
which is….[:/]
Silvia: Oh, I see… I wish I could discover it, but I understand why you can’t! [:)(] But
what about the not secret ones? The ones that everyone can hear.
Daniela: Well, appart from our key ingredients, the ones we use are the usuals in
the making of chocolate. But the truth to reach the exit, for us, is to create our
products with love and time.
Nicole: Yes! With love and dedication, everything comes up better! (jeje)
Silvia: Oh no, for the way you are talking about THE chocolate, now I’m regretting
not coming here before… I wish I had made the research on the best chocolate
before!! I can’t wait to taste it, haha!
Nicole: Then, we won’t make you wait anymore! Come with us!
(volvemos al mostrador, daniela coje un trozo de chocolate i se lo da a nicole)
Nicole: Here, have a taste!
(sílvia eats)
Sílvia: OMG, ooooo, aaaaa, ooooo, mmmmmmmm….. This is such a perfect
chocolate, the best one I’ve ever, and will probably try in my whole life. If only I didn't
have to return to the USA… I would eat the entire store. THIS IS PERFECT
Daniela: Thank you! We also wish that you could stay here eating, it’s great seeing
someone enjoying our product like this!!
Sílvia: (continues): No wonder why, even being between the oldest jeweller’s and
the biggest department store in Spain, you are still able to fill the street with a giant
queue!!
Nicole: Hohohoho Sílvia, you are going to make us blush! It means a lot that you
appreciate our products so much!
Silvia: Totally deserved! (looks at the watch) oh no!!! I wish I didn’t have to go, but
my flight is leaving in two hours!! Ladies, it’s been a real pleasure to be here and try,
seriously talking, the best chocolate to ever exist! And don’t worry about the contest -
you can be really confident!!!
Daniela: Haha!! Thank you!, it has also been such a pleasure to have you here, in
gratitude we are going to give you this piece: the empire states
Silvia: Wow, I see! Thank you very much!! (looks at the watch again) AGH,
unfortunately I have to leave right now, bye bye!!
Nicole: Wait, I will open the door for you!! (“opens the door”) Sílvia, thank you for
everything! Have a great flight!!!
