Step 1: Subnet the given subnet and assign the 1 st subnet to Sales department and 4 th subnet to Marketing department while
wasting the fewest addresses.
Step 2: From the available subnets that you created in Step 1, subnet further the 2 nd subnet as per the host requirement of
Customer Service department.
Step 3: From the subnets that you created in Step 2, assign the 1 st subnet to Customer Service department and subnet further the
3rd subnet and assign the 1st and 2nd subnet to HR and IT department respectively.

IPv6
Step 1: Subnet the given network and assign the 1 st, 2nd and 3rd , 11th and 15th subnet to Sales, Marketing, HR, IT and Customer
Service department respectively.
Step 2: Find the 1st, 10th, 15th Host IP of the Customer Service Department.
