ORGANIZATION

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In this report I have included all the experience and knowledge that I have
gained during my Summer Internship Programme for a tenure of 45 days at a
Pharmaceutical company “INTAS” where I gained a lot of experience and
practical knowledge about the professional work in the field of accounts. It was
a whole new exposure for me and it helps me in understanding how the
financial data of an individual or a company are inserted in the software and
how accounts are prepared for the calculation of its financial assets and
liabilities.
Hence, adding all that up It was a great experience working with the
professionals and observing how a company actually works which helps me in
developing new skills and capabilities.

This report consists of all the knowledge and experience I have gained during
my internship training at INTAS Pharmaceutical limited which is a reputed
pharmaceutical company.
In this report I have included all my working experience at the firm and all the
things that I have learnt under my internship training period. I worked there as a
data entry operator and my work profile is to feed the data provided to me by
my superior in MS Excel.
Microsoft Excel, often called MS Excel, is a powerful spreadsheet program
made by Microsoft. It's widely used by individuals, businesses, and
organizations globally. Excel provides a user-friendly way to create, organize,
and analyse data in tables. People use it for various tasks, like financial planning
and data analysis. With its features like formulas, charts, and pivot tables, Excel
helps users work with data efficiently, make informed decisions, and improve
workflow. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, MS Excel is a valuable tool
for boosting productivity and managing data.
MS Excel provides a wide range of functionalities and features that are designed
to satisfy the various needs of users.
Microsoft Excel holds immense importance due to its versatility and utility in
various fields. It serves as a cornerstone tool for data management, analysis, and
visualization, enabling users to make informed decisions and streamline their
workflows. Whether it's creating budgets, conducting complex data analysis, or
generating informative charts and graphs, Excel simplifies these tasks

Objectives of the training:-
The main objective of this training is to get a real life experience of how a
organisation works and to gain knowledge in the field of finance and
accountancy.
Some of the objectives are as follows:-
Skill Development: Developing proficiency in using Tally software by gaining
practical experience in data entry, ledger management, and account generation.
Understanding of Accounting Principles: Acquiring a fundamental
understanding of accounting principles and practices to ensure accurate
financial record-keeping.
Software Proficiency: Mastering the features and functionalities of Tally
software, including data entry, shortcuts, customization options, and
troubleshooting common issues.
Financial Reporting: Learning how to generate various financial reports using
Tally, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow
statements.
Career Advancement: Considering long-term career goals, such as advancing
to roles like Senior Tally Operator, Accountant, or Financial Analyst, and set
objectives to work towards those goals.

DISADVANTAGES OF MS EXCEL
1. Complexity for Advanced Functions: While Excel is user-friendly for
basic tasks, complex operations and functions may require advanced
knowledge and can be challenging for inexperienced users.
2. Data Security: Excel files can be vulnerable to security breaches if not
adequately protected. Passwords can be cracked, and unauthorized access is
possible if files are not properly secured.
3. Lack of Collaboration Features: While Excel does offer some
collaboration features, they are not as robust as those found in dedicated
collaboration tools or cloud-based spreadsheets, making it less suitable for

WHAT I HAVE LEARNT
Communication skills: It is something which is very important while working
in any organization. Communication may includes interaction with our team
mates , superiors, clients, It helped me in many ways and what I have learnt is
that there should be a clarity in communication, not only in speaking but also in
listening , showing how attentive you are to someone’s question.
Teamwork and collaborations – It was my first experience while working with
the professionals and skilled as well as experienced with persons. I have
experienced many things like every person’s contribution is important for the
growth of the organization. I gave my suggestions and opinions to my superiors
and teammates according to the problem.
Problem solving - There were many problems that were faced while doing this
internship but it was crucial to adopt proactive mindset. I usually breakdown my
problems into manageable steps so that I can achieve my personal goals. I
usually maintain a positive attitude and view my challenges as an opportunity
for personal and professional growth.
How to manage projects and tasks – As in starting while my internship there
were limited tasks were given to me as I was new to the work and not knowing
the how to handle the projects as doing this internship but after some time the
increased the number of tasks per day like they increased the number of clients I
have to call and update them about the policies according to their needs.
