Present Continuous Structure of the present continuous
The present continuous usually refers to situations or actions that are being performed in the moment.
Affirmative Form
Applications for the present continuous
1. Clearly explain actions that happen at the same time they are described. For example: Negative Form

2. Provide context when expressing current situations. Normally these sentences are accompanied by adverbs
such as recently, currently or lately, among others. For example:

Past Continuous Structure of the present continuous
The past continuous of English is the verb tense that indicates actions or situations that happened in the past and whose duration
had or has relevance.
Applications of the Past Continuous Affirmative Form
1. Expressing actions or states that were taking place in the past when another action or state interrupts or reinforces them. Negative Form
