[Link] article from [Link] is not a current article, since it was published in 2014.
Especially considering climate change is recorded and discussed on a year to year basis, this
makes any older article less relevant.
2. There is no listed author on this article, which removes much of the credibility from
the information. However, whoever wrote this article has nearly erased any shred of credibility
with just the first sentence in the article by calling out the “liberal media machine” for
fabricating the idea of global warming. On top of all of this, the links the author includes is only
available for those who pay for a subscription to the website.
3. The intended audience of this article is not necessarily for the right wing conervatives,
however it is still very inviting to them. It is for people who already believe that global warming
is a fraudulent idea. This just confirms them what they already believed. It is also for
conservatives who may have been on the fence about it but are against liberal media. The
purpose is to influence people that global warming is in not correct.
4. Based on research done by NASA, I can determine that the information in this article
is not only biased but also incorrect. The article I read, a government website, claims that there
has been decreased snow cover globally, warming oceans, and shrinking ice sheets among
other drastic global changes.

1. The article by NASA is a very current article, since it was just published barely over 6
months ago.
2. The author for this article is Holly Shaftel, who works in NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab. From
what I can tell, there is no bias in this article. The reason I didn’t notice any bias is
because there was just facts and data used for her conclusions.
3. The intended audience of this article is anyone looking for a well written, objective
article on global warming. The purpose of the article is not to influence the reader, but
rather inform the reader with data and research regarding global warming.
4. Considering there is enough data and evidence throughout the reading, along with the
author being a government scientist, I am led to believe this article is completely factual.

5. The USA Today article I read about global warming was all based on fact. Throughout
the article, the author cites information from several different scientists.
6. Based on both NASA articles and the USA Today article I read, I would have to believe
that global warming is an actual issue the world is facing. Out of the four articles I read,
three supported the theory of global warming and none were opinionated and used
research, data, and cites sources for their point. The only article against global warming
was very biased and opinionated and included links that are not accessible for free.
