1. Change the colour of the background layer
2. Ensure you are working on a new layer
10 STEP DRAWING PROCESS
1. Select a brush, set the size and the opacity percentage
2. Select a colour
3. Tap on the screen
4. Swipe left on the layer and duplicate it
5. Select the bottom layer, select white from the colour palette and drag it into the shape
(hold stylus on the screen and move to the left or right if the white colour is spilling out of
the shape)
6. Add a new layer above the bottom layer, tap it and select 'clipping mask' from menu
7. Select the main colour of the item you're drawing, select the watercolour brush from
the Basic brush set, set the size and opacity and colour all over the shape (don't worry
about staying in the lines)
8. Select a slightly darker colour of the main colour in step 7, lower the brush size,
lower the opacity and build up layers of shadows
9. Select a lighter colour of the main colour in step 7, set the brush size and opacity
similar to that chosen in step 8 and build up layers of highlights
10. In the smudge brush menu, select the wet smudge brush from the Basic brush set,
set the size and opacity and blend the colours together (following the shape of your
outline)
