What is a

Compressor?
A compressor is a machine that increases the pressure of a fluid,
typically air or gas. This is achieved by reducing the volume of the fluid,
which in turn increases its density and energy.
How Does a Compressor
Work?
1 Intake
The compressor draws in air or gas through an intake valve.

2 Compression
The intake air or gas is compressed by a rotating impeller or
piston.

3 Discharge
The compressed air or gas is discharged through an outlet
valve at a higher pressure.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Regular Inspections
Check oil levels, filters, belts, and hoses for wear and tear.

Lubrication
Ensure proper lubrication of moving parts to prevent friction and wear.

Troubleshooting
Address issues such as noise, vibration, oil leaks, and performance degradation.
