Unlocking
Opportunities:
Unblocking Stripe
and Moving Forward Navigating Risks and
Building a Resilient
Fintech Future
Context
► Our Stripe account was blocked due to a 'high-risk' designation.
► To overcome this, we plan to open multiple LLCs for different business
ideas, each categorized by risk level, and ensure that we spread our
operations across these entities.
Section 1: Opening LLCs
► Open 4 LLCs based on risk levels.
► LLC 1 (Low-risk, Atlas by Stripe): Led by Fernanda.
► LLC 2 & 3 (Experimenting with agents and payment processors):
Led by Yuri and/or Juan Manuel.
► LLC 4 (Square/[Link] – Needs US Citizen): Look for a partner
with an SSN
► Seek funding.
Section 2: Formalizing Lowest-Risk Idea
► Our lowest-risk idea is to help hotels and Airbnb hosts manage payments
using a payment link or POS.
► Plan includes:
► Product design (UX/UI)
► Web: domain, hosting, web dev
► Branding (social impact)
► Marketing
► Financial model, and business case.
Section 3: Research Areas
► Alternatives for registered agents (cost-effective, friendly for foreigners).
► Atlas research – Understand requirements and alternatives.
► Explore alternatives to Stripe for payment processing
► Physical POS for our customers
► Analyze the best entity structures in the U.S. (foreign founders).
► Stripe risk analysis to prevent future blockages.
Section 3: Riskier Business Idea
► We aim to formalize the 'Bolivian AirTM' or an online bank where
people can hold USDT to make transactions.
► This starts with acquiring USDT at official exchange rates, eventually
positioning ourselves as a crypto bank as the Bolivian currency
weakens.
Next Steps
► Secure Funding
► Open LLC 1 with Stripe Atlas after finalizing business formalities.
► Finalize product design and branding for the lowest-risk idea.
► Experiment with LLCs 2 & 3 using different agents and processors.
► Conduct necessary research for the Bolivian AirTM/Criptos idea in
parallel.
