The chocolate shop
This is Colette’s chocolate shop. Colette is
a young French woman who lives in
Toulouse, a nice town in Southern France,
and has been running this shop for five
years. She is a good chocolate maker, she
can make every type of chocolate: plain
chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate
and she also sells liqueur chocolate, and
chocolate pudding. She learned from her
father, Antoine. She is satisfied with her
job, although she gets up very early each
morning, and she works at weekends too. Monday is her day off.
She gets up at 5 o’clock and reaches the shop at 6.15 to make the chocolates and the other products,
and she opens the shop at 8.30. She works until 12.30, then she has a three-hour break, and she
opens the shop again at 3.30 pm. She stays there until 5 pm.
People love Colette’s chocolate in fact she always has a lot of customers. Moreover, Colette is very
friendly and ready to cheer you up if you are in a bad mood. If you go to Toulouse, pay a visit to
