of Vietnamese culture
Áo dài History Throughout a long development
process with many styles and
adaptations, the split tunic silk
costume has become a symbol of
Vietnamese values: delicacy,
courtesy, and friendliness.

embroidered and consist of various
topics: flowers, mythical animals,
clouds and skies,... which reflects the
strong association between nature and
our culture.

to express your taste in fashion, but it
can also create a gentle version of
yourself, showcasing the wearer’s
beauty.
That was such an impressive performance by our friends from the Department
of American and British Culture and Literature, wasn't it? Now, let’s move our
attention to the Department of English Linguistics and Language Teaching.
Coming to this sharing session with NUS, we would like to use this opportunity
to introduce not only our talents in singing but also a small part of Vietnamese
culture. Let's give a big round of applause to not one, not two, but three
consecutive performances, including 2 songs and a mini-catwalk show.
