UNIT: 1. NUMBERS UP TO 1 000 PERIOD: 30 minutes DAY: Tuesday
CONTENT STANDARD:
1.6 Round off Numbers.
LEARNING STANDARD:
(i) 1.6.1 Round off whole numbers to the nearest hundreds.
LEARNING By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils can;
OBJECTIVES (i) Round off any 3-digit numbers to the nearest hundreds correctly.
Pupils will be able to;

CRITERIA
(i) Round off at least three, 3-digit numbers to the nearest hundreds correctly by
using number line or formula given.
INTRODUCTION Recall back the way to count on in ones, tens and hundreds.

1. Pupils are guide to do the exercise by using one/two examples on the board.
2. Pupils write the number according to the group of objects given.
(Activity Book page 21- exercise 2)
3. Teacher guide slow learners as needed.
