SECTION B: SUBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS

Answer any 3 out of the given 5 questions on Employability Skills (2 x 3 = 6 marks)
Answer each question in 20 – 30 words.
Q. 6 1. Headaches 2
2. Anxiety
3. Fatigue
4. Irritability
Q. 7 • Interests: Activities that a person enjoys doing. They reflect what we like 2
to do.
• Abilities: Skills or talents a person possesses. They reflect what we are
capable of doing.
Q. 8 • Physical part of the computer: Hardware 2
• Applications on which we work: Software
• Input device for typing: Keyboard
• Device to move and select items: Mouse
Q. 9 Arth demonstrates resilience and responsibility. He accepts failure, 2
apologizes, and promises to improve in the future.

[2]
Q. 10 • SDG: SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production 2
• Two ways to achieve this SDG:
1. Reducing plastic usage.
2. Recycling waste materials.

Answer any 4 out of the given 6 questions in 20 – 30 words each (2 x 4 = 8 marks)

Q. 11 • Application: Risk Analysis 2
• Explanation: Data science is used to analyze financial data to predict risks,
enabling better decision-making for investments and credit approvals.
Q. 12 1. Personalization: To offer customized user experiences. 2
2. Analytics: To improve app performance and features based on user
behavior.
Q. 13 1. Data Authenticity: Ensure the source is credible and reliable. 2
2. Data Privacy: Check if the data source follows data privacy regulations.
Q. 14 • Stage 2: Data Acquisition – Collecting relevant data for the AI project. 2
• Stage 3: Data Exploration – Analyzing and understanding the data,
identifying patterns or trends.
Q. 15 Given precision = 20%, recall = 0.5, and 10 true positives: 2
• False Positive: 40
• False Negative: 10
Q. 16 • Technique: Supervised Learning 2
• Explanation: In supervised learning, the model is trained on labeled data
where the correct output is known, helping it to make accurate
predictions.

Answer any 3 out of the given 5 questions in 50 – 80 words each (4 x 3 = 12 marks)

Q. 17 A balanced approach is better. While AI can replace tedious tasks, humans 4
should focus on upgrading skills for roles that require creativity, problem-
solving, and emotional intelligence, which machines cannot replace.
Continuous learning ensures humans remain in control of technology.
Q. 18 • Precision = 30 / (30 + 10) = 0.75 4
• Recall = 30 / (30 + 20) = 0.6
• F1 Score = 2 * (0.75 * 0.6) / (0.75 + 0.6) = 0.67
Q. 19 • Supervised Learning: Model is trained on labeled data. 4
• Unsupervised Learning: Model identifies patterns in data without labels.
• Reinforcement Learning: Model learns through trial and error, receiving
feedback for actions.

Q. 20 The challenges that we face when we try to teach computers to understand 4
and interact in human languages are as follows:
1. Computers can understand only 0’s and 1’s so it is very difficult for humans
to understand and learn the binary code for all the instructions that are
needed to be communicated to computers. Thus programming languages
are developed that are closer to human beings.
2. When we are instructing computers in a language like English, we have
multiple meanings for single word like minute, jam etc. Thus ambiguity
arise when we write such words.
3. Homophones like plane-plain, if pronounced, will have the same sound
and NLP software may misinterpret the word.
4. The syntax for a sentence helps to understand its meaning but sometimes
we may change the placing of words that humans would understand but
computer will not.
Q. 21 4Ws Canvas 4
WHO?
Who are the stakeholders? Mohan and Soham are the individuals
involved in addressing the issue of plastic
accumulation in the oceans.
What do we know about them? They could be from government agencies
or environmental organisations.
WHAT?
What is the problem? Plastic accumulation in the oceans
How do you know it is a It poses significant environmental threats

WHERE?
What is the context/ situation The location of the problem is the oceans,
in which the stakeholders which encompass all global bodies of
experience this problem? saltwater, that gathers all the plastic
waste.
WHY?
What would be of key value to The rationale behind their efforts is to
the stakeholders? stop the environmental impact of plastic
pollution
How would it improve their It will prevent harm to marine animals
