Technology is an important factor that influences the way we perceive things and how

they negatively affect our mental health like in Fahrenheit 451 where suicide rates are 9
or 10 every night and people feel so alone that they begin to consider He likes the
characters in TV shows like his family, although in our society technology has not yet
influenced people to that point, if we do not begin to take seriously the way in which
the daily use of electronic devices contributes to the increase in problems of mental
health and how it causes us to socially isolate ourselves, thus causing unhappiness.

Bradbury's predictions about the negative impacts that technology has on our society
today are true but only to a certain extent as demonstrated in the article “Is technology
Causing Our Unhappiness.” , “An Ugly Toll of Technology:Impatience and Forgetfulness”
and in “The truth about teens, social media and the mental health crisis”.

People became dependent on technology and this caused activities in society to be

almost non-existent.
People stopped sharing social moments and focused more on technology and began
to ignore everything else, using television and television programs as part of their daily
lives, forgetting important things and ignoring everything that happens around them.
"It’ll be even more fun when we can afford to have the fourth wall installed. How long
you figure before we save up and get the fourth wall torn out and a fourth wall-TV put
in? (p.18).
This today can be compared to the truth because many people, especially young
people, have stopped interacting socially (face to face) due to the use of electronic
devices, which causes there to no longer be true physical contact due to the worry of
missing out. something important if they leave their cell phones or technology in
general. “When our attention gets directed to our phones rather than our friends and
family, we derive less sense of a meaning” (Is technology causing our happiness).
Electronic devices cause people not to want to interact in a more active and social
way, that is, there are fewer encounters (face to face) due to the dependency
generated by using technology and not wanting to leave it to carry out activities that
are more productive or that make us causes happiness since spending most of the day
on electronic devices generates an attachment that little by little affects the way we
feel.
Technology negatively influences our mental health and the way we feel emotionally.
Mental health in the general population can be seen to have been affected by
technology since depending significantly on this cause it unconsciously affects the way
we behave and how we feel. The suicide rates in the book are a clear example of this
since a life without social interaction and leaving aside the activities that make us truly
happy makes everything monotonous and depressing, generating sadness and a
detachment from life. “We get these cases nine or ten a night. Got so many, starting a
few years ago, we had the special machines built” (p.13)
Technology, although there is still no clear evidence that it significantly affects our
mental health, several scientists suggest that since the appearance of the first cell
phones, people have changed their behavior patterns due to the use of technology
since it is long-term or long-term. Short term, depending on the person, causes mental
health problems such as depression, anxiety and loneliness because the constant use of
cell phones and social networks causes people to isolate themselves socially, thus
generating mental health problems. “Since 2010, anxiety, depression and loneliness
have all increased” “ “Apple introduced the first iPhones in 2007” “ Facebook caused
about 2% of college students to become clinically depression”
Technology negatively affects our mental health and our way of behaving, since the
daily use of electronic devices causes us to leave aside the activities that make us
happy, such as sharing moments with our families and friends, and causes us to isolate
ourselves socially. thus making people more susceptible to mental health problems such
as depression, anxiety and loneliness and in more extreme cases, suicide
