This is hereby informed that a State Level Essay Competition in Bengali language for
the students of Schools and readers of Public Libraries is going to be held for
celebration of forthcoming Public Library Day 2024 as follows:

2 13- 18 Yrs. 1500
Following criteria to be considered for this competition:
Only students of Schools and young readers (<18 years) of Public Libraries are
allowed to participate in the competition;
Language of the essay: Bengali;
Word limit of the essay for Group-A (8 - 12 Yrs.): 1000 and for Group-B (13
18Yrs.): 1500;
Participants may submit their essay to the end of the District Library Officers of
respective districts in sealed envelope or by e-mail : dlserchithi@[Link] ( in
PDF form) by 24.08.2024;

Successful participants from each group will be awarded in the occasion of central
celebration of Public Library Day on 31st August 2024 in Kolkata.
