The present perfect is a tense used for


past actions that are important in the
present

The past participle of verbs is used to


form the present perfect

To form the present pefect the auxiliar


verb is used “ To have” in the present, and
the past participe of the verb

Regular verb
1. Have/has + past participle (verb + ed)

2. Verbs ending in an –e
Have/has + past participle (verb + d)

3. Verbs ending in a – y preceded by a consonant
