administrators, planners, instructors, and artists working at national and public institutions
and private organizations in CPI Partnership countries. Since 2005, about 1,500 participants

research and artistic creation) in collaboration with Korean cultural institutions.

contributing to the nation’s policy for promoting culture and expanding cultural projects.
By sharing and discussing a wealth of information and expertise with cultural administrators
from CPI partnership countries, it seeks to increase the impact and scope of various of
cultural projects.

The Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE) is a specialized
institution responsible for international cultural exchange, designated by the Ministry of
Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
To promote cross-border cultural exchange, KOFICE is committed to the following initiatives:
organizing bilateral cultural exchange events, building a global network, conducting research
and studies, and providing professional training programs for experts in relevant fields.

In traditional Korean society, the place for making side dishes was called
‘Chankan’, the place for preparing the king’s meals was ‘Surakan’ and the
place for keeping foodstuffs was called ‘Gotkan’.
We took the suffix ‘kan’ from these words and created the name
‘Kimchikan’ in the hope that the museum will display diverse aspects and
stories of Kimchi and enable visitors to feel, experience, and enjoy it.

HiKR Ground
Site [Link]

Located inside the Korea Tourism Organization Seoul Center, HiKR

Ground is a Korean tourism publicity center where visitors can experience
K-pop and view media art at the same time. The name 'HiKR Ground'
embodies the meaning that Korea (KR) will greet ("Hi") global tourists and
become a playground. Notably, it provides Korean tourism content in
multiple ways for the younger generation to enjoy.
