Strength Training Program

Welcome to the 8-12 Week Strength Training Program! This guide is designed to help you build

strength and muscle

through structured, progressive resistance training. Whether you're a beginner or have some

experience, this program

will provide the foundation needed to reach your strength goals.

Program Goals:

- Increase muscle strength and endurance

- Improve overall fitness and body composition

- Master foundational compound lifts

Each week, you'll follow a structured workout plan focusing on key lifts and progressive overload

techniques. Make

sure to track your progress using the provided tracking sheets and stay consistent for the best

results.

Weekly Workout Plan - Overview

Week 1-4 (Introductory Phase)

Day 1: Full Body Strength - Squats, Push-ups, Rows, Core

Day 2: Upper Body - Bench Press, Shoulder Press, Bicep Curls, Tricep Extensions

Day 3: Lower Body - Deadlifts, Lunges, Leg Press, Calf Raises

Day 4: Rest or Active Recovery (e.g., Light Cardio, Stretching)

Day 5: Full Body Strength - Squats, Pull-ups, Core


Day 6: Cardio or Mobility Work

Day 7: Rest

Each workout includes warm-up exercises, main sets, and a cooldown. Be sure to use weights that

allow you to complete the

prescribed reps with good form, adding weight as you progress.

Exercise Descriptions & Techniques

1. Squats: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell on your upper back. Bend at the

knees and hips

to lower into a squat, then drive back up to standing. Keep your chest up and core engaged.

2. Bench Press: Lie on a flat bench with feet on the floor. Grasp the barbell with hands slightly wider

than shoulder-width.

Lower the bar to your chest, then press back up.

3. Deadlift: Stand with feet hip-width apart and a barbell on the floor in front. Bend at the hips and

knees, grab the bar,

then stand up by extending your hips and knees.

4. Shoulder Press: Sit or stand with a barbell or dumbbells at shoulder height. Press up until arms

are straight, then lower

back down.

Progress Tracking Sheets

Use these tracking sheets to monitor your progress. Record weights, reps, and any notes for each
session.

Keeping track of your performance will help you maintain steady progress and adjust your program

as needed.
