IP Configuration Process

Step 1: Start your Pc

Step 2: Check Whether the LAN Cable is connected or


not.
Step 3: Check the signal light (Green-orange light) blink or
not.

Step 4: Click on windows icon then go to Settings.


Step 5: Click on Network and Internet then go to
Advance Network Settings.
Step 6: Check Ethernet Whether it is connected or not.
Step 7: Click on Ethernet and then go to More Adapter
Options.

Step 8: Click on Edit button then find the Internet


Protocol Version 4.
Step 9: Click on IPv4 then go to Properties option and
click.
Step 10: If you have manual IP address and Gateway.
Then you have to manually enter them:
(a) IP address : 192.168.1.x
(b) Subnet mask: [Link]
(c) Default gateway: [Link]
(d) Preferred DNS server: [Link]
(e) Alternate DNS server: [Link]
Step 11: If you don’t have manual IP then click on
Automatic IP and Automatic DNS. Click OK
