SCIMATH SCRIPT

Before we start may we request everyone to come outside their classrooms and join us
as our program will begin in few minutes.

JEZRYLLE: To formally start with today’s program, I would like to request request
everyone to rise as we begin with the Philippine National Anthem, to be followed by the
opening prayer and the Eastern Samar State University hymn.
RANDY: At this juncture we acknowledge the presence of our college dean, Dr. Arnel A.
Balbin, Associate Dean Dr. Rowena A. Catuday, the faculty and staff of the college of
education, students and guest…
BOTH: WELCOME TO THE 2024 SCIMATH MONTH OPENING CEREMONY!
JEZRYLLE: With the theme, ‘’Rebuilding Resilient Communities: Embracing Science
and Technology for a Sustainable Future.’’ I’am Jezrylle Anne Balaong
RANDY: And I am Randy Amoyan, we are your master of ceremony in today’s fun and
exciting activities.
JEZRYLLE: At this jungcture to formally welcome us all to this SciMath Month
ceremony, let’s all welcome the President of The Society of Philippine Mathematics
Educators, Mr. Mike Paul Cebricus for his opening remaks. A round of applause please!
RANDY: Thank you so much Mister president for that incredible message.
RANDY: So, partner, It seems like our fellow coedian are already excited for today’s
main event. How about you partner, are you also excited?
JEZRYLLE: Of course, Partner! Im definitely excited and ready. How about you partner
are you ready?
RANDY: Syempre I’m always ready!
JEZRYLLE: How about you guys, Are you ready? Isa pa, COEDIANS, ARE YOU
READY?
RANDY: Before we see our first performer, lets first have a roll call partner. Andito na ba
ang lahat? Where is the Social Studies major? (ENGLISH, MATH, SCIENCE AND
FILIPINO)
JEZRYLLE: All right, seems that everyone is already hyped up, I guess our first
performer are ready. Coedians, lets give it up for the Junior Elementary Education!
RANDY: Thank you guys for that very energetic performance.
RANDY: Partner, Were just halfway through in todays program and at this juncture one
of the anticipated segments of today's SciMath event is the search for Mr. and Ms.
SciMath 2024.
JEZRYLLE: That’s right partner. Today, we’re not just looking for the next pair of role
models. We’re searching for individuals who exemplify the perfect balance of
intelligence and charisma—our future leaders who can inspire others with both their
minds and their hearts.
RANDY: In this contest, it’s not just about outer beauty. It’s about celebrating young men
and women who embody excellence in Science and Mathematics while showcasing
confidence, creativity, and leadership. These qualities reflect the idea that true beauty is
more than skin deep—it shines through intellect, kindness, and passion.
JEZRYLLE: Having the right blend of brains and beauty isn’t just about looking good
while being smart; it’s about using your knowledge and talents to make a positive
impact on the world. Today, we are honored to present contestants who not only excel in
their academics but also have meaningful advocacies that aim to contribute to society
JEZRYLLE: So without further ado, let’s introduce our contestants, starting with the
candidate!..

RANDY: Now that we have finally met our contestants, I think everyone has already
have an idea who they want to win on this pageant. But of course, the coronation and
announcement of winner will be on __ this __ at Teatro Lantawan.
JEZRYLLE: That’s right partner. But of course, it doesn’t end here, later we will see the
spectacular talent showcase of our candidates.
JEZRYLLE: So before we continue partner, lets first have a survey. Coedians, who do
you think will win the title MR. and Ms. Scimath 2024. Is it candidate number…? Or
candidate…?
JEZRYLLE: COEDIANS GISING PA BA KAYO?
JEZRYLLE: they say College of education is the home of champions, hindi
nagpapatalo. So, to present another intermission number lets give a round of applause
to the MATHEMATIC MAJORS!
RANDY: Thank you so much math majors. And now we’re on the final and exciting
event of the part 1 of our program. At this point, it’s time for one of the most exciting
parts of our program—the Talent Portion!
JEZRYLLE: In this segment, our contestants will showcase their unique skills, proving
that they are not just brains and beauty, but also creativity and talent.
RANDY: To start things off, let’s welcome our first contestant, candidate no…

RANDY: We can’t wait to see more from them throughout the competition. Best of luck
to all our Mr. and Ms. SciMath contestants! You are all already winners for the incredible
work you do and the positive impact you're making.

our opening program. what an incredible day it has been! We’ve witnessed not just a
