DAY 01: JOGJAKARTA AIRPORT – HOTEL (D)
Arrival at Yogyakarta International airport or Adi Sucipto airport, then transfer to
Yogyakarta town
Check-in hotel and visit the famous Malioboro Street. Enjoy the local cuisine in one
of the culinary Paradise of the country, The Prawirotaman área, dinner will be
served at local restaurant.
DAY 02: PRAMBANAN- MERAPI – BOROBUDUR (B,L, D)
In the morning, we go to Prambanan temple to enjoy the most beuatiful Hindust
temple in Indonesia
Then continue to Mount Merapi, one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia, we
will take a 4x4 tour through the lava and mud roads that surround this wild area.
Simply breathtaking. We will explore the ancient Buddhist temple of Borobudur, a
UNESCO World Heritage Site, lunch at local restaurant, dinner will serve at hotel
Note: for this moment we can not climb onto the temple of Borobudur and
Prambanan. We can only enjoy from its yard, we will update you once Borobudur
open as previously.
DAY 03 JOGJAKARTA – MALANG VIA MOJOKERTO BY TRAIN (B, D)
Transfer to Yogyakarta train station in the early morning, We plan to take Sancaka
train leaving at 06.45 (tentative) heading to Mojokerto, lunch on the train on
personal cost., Arriving in Mojokerto then we will visit Trowulan museum which has
good collection of hitorical relic of Majaphit kongdom,then proceed to Malang,
dinner will serve at local restaurant
DAY 4: BROMO SUNRISE (B,L,D)
At 12.30 mid night we go to Tosari where you subtitute your transpoprt using jeep,
Here we will enjoy Bromo Sunrise (weather condition) and also trekking up to the
summit of Bromo to enjoy its caldera, after that visit the village of Ngadas, the best
way to meet an authentic village and enjoy the tribal experience, return to the
hotel, rest of the day free program, lunch served at Local restaurant, dinner will
serve at the hotel.
We skip waterfall Tumbak Sewu since time is not permitted, it takes 3 hours drive
from Malang one way
DAY 5: MALANG – SURABAYA – UJUNG PANDANG (B,L,D)
Breakfast at your hotel than Transfer to the airport of Surabaya , upon arrival in Ujung
Pandang
Welcome to the gritty metropolis of Makassar, one of Indonesia’s greatest port and air hub; full
with history and culture diversity. You’ll be met upon arrival by the guide then set on a
wondrous journey to Toraja that moves through lofty mountains landscape. This trip offers
plenty of picturesque stop for you to have coffee or photo shoots. In the afternoon, we pass the
notorious “erotic” mountain Buttu Kabobong in Bambapuang before entering the Toraja land.
“The mountainous district of Toraja is the homeland of several ethnic groups who are called
Toraja (Toraja means ‘the people of the mountains’ or ‘the people of the west’. The Toraja call
their traditional religion Aluk Todolo (rites of the ancestors) and they live according to the
patron that was defined by the ancestor’s and gods. These include the impressive rituals of
burying the deceased. The beautiful carved houses with the remarkable roofs, the so-called
Tongkonan, are also built according principles of Aluk Todolo. Although most Toraja are
Christian nowadays, still many traditions live on. If during your stay in Toraja, there is an
opportunity to visit an impressive funeral - or house ceremony or the big animal market,
program could be adjusted to fit in these visits” recommended arrival by morning flight from

DAY 06: TORAJA FULLDAY TOUR (B,L,D)
Starting you day with tasting the magnificent of Toraja coffee directly on the local site, then
continue with Spend the morning exploring the highlights of the region. Visit Ke’te Kesu, a small
village well known for its original Tongkonan houses, beautiful wood carvings and typical Toraja
paintings; this village is a Unesco World Heritage site. Continue with a short walk in the
beautiful scenery of Karuaya before lunch in a traditional house with a local family.
In the afternoon, you will explore the different ways the Toraja burry their death; from the baby
graves in the trunk of big trees Kambira and nearby Tampang Allo. Continue to the curious cave
of Londa. Use as grave, we can see bones and deceased in these natural caves. We move to
Lemo where graves are carved into the stone cliff and the wooden effigies of the dead gaze
upon from its balcony. We end the day at the colorful and lively Rantepao afternoon market full
of spices, coffee and handicrafts.
DAY 07: TORAJA – LOMBOK PARINDING – BATUTUMONGAAND SORROUNDING (B,L, D)
Today excursion will give us a further insight into the local traditions and captivated us with its
beautiful scenery. Visit Lombok Parinding the historical sites where you can see hundred
numbers of “Erong” coffin. The megalith collections of Bori and beautiful Tongkonan adorned
with ornaments, carvings and majestic buffalo horns in Pallawa are our cultural starter. We
continue to the mountain towards Batutumonga, passing thru the Tinombayo village where you
will show with its beautiful scenery of the rice fields and the mountainous panoramic.
Batutumonga located on a dramatic ridge, high on the slope of Mount Sesean. The area offers
relaxing ambiance, cool temperature and beautiful scenery – a mixture of terraced paddy fields,
forest and open grassland. It is really a perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy a warm cup of Toraja
coffee. After lunch, we walk to Lo’komata. The sheer size and colourful motives on the doors of
this big stone grave creates a sense of amazements to everyone standing upon it. Walking our
way down to Tikala, we will get the first-hand experience of the local people daily life - women
pounding rice, men scrubbing their buffalo, children laughing and playing… a seemingly happy
and unworried existence contrasting the seriousness of funerals and graves. Pick up by car then
return to hotel.
DAY 08: TORAJA – UJUNG PANDANG (B, L)
Bid farewell to the surreal world of Toraja. On the way back to Makassar, Stops in Puncak
Lakawan to enjoy the incredible view of hills and valley. Afternoon break is possible to do in the
city of Pare-Pare. You will arrive in Makassar in the afternoon and directly transferred to the
hotel.
