HOUSEWORK
1. Do you do housework at home?
Of course, I do housework on a regularly basis. I really hate mess, so I
always clean my house, make my bed and take out the rubbish. And, I help
my parents with the household chores and other routine work. I actually
consider it as a part of my vital responsibilities.
2. What kind of household work do you often do?
I often wash dishes, mop and sweep the floor, scrub the kitchen and
bathroom. I usually do a deep clean every once a week, but keep tidying up
during the week
3. Did you do housework when you were a child?
Absolutely, but for the most part, I was exempted from doing housework is
too physically demanding. I just have to do some menial tasks, like
sweeping the floor, washing the dishes. Sometimes, I run on errand for my
parents like picking vegetables, buying some daily necessities.
4. Do you think that children should do housework?
I believe that children should be taught the importance of sharing the
responsibility of housework. Parents involve kids in petty tasks such as
taking care of the younger siblings, making the bed, sweeping the floor or
laying table. It is said that they can be responsible for themselves and their
families in the future.
5. Do you think that men and women should share housework?
I am a strong supporter of the idea that housework should be shared between
all members of the house, regardless of their gender. It is unreasonable that
women carry out all the household chores, it is the responsibility of both
people.
6. What kinds of household chores do you dislike doing?
I hate scrub the kitchen. When cleaning the kitchen, I can touch many things
which are very dirty , and it is full of oil, so it makes me feel uncomfortable
to clean.
