A NARRATIVE REPORT ON BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK-OFF 2024 AT CAMOTES NATIONAL
HIGH SCHOOL
DAY 1 (JULY 22, 2024)
THEME: “BAYANIHAN PARA SA MATATAG NA KINABUKASAN”
The Filipino spirit of "Bayanihan," characterized by cooperation and collective effort, has long been a cornerstone of
Filipino culture. This spirit finds a powerful manifestation in Brigada Eskwela, it is a program that brings unity of teachers,
parents, students, and community members to prepare the schools for the new academic year.
The Brigada Eskwela program of Camotes National High School was held in SEDP building, at exactly 8:00 in the morning.
The dedicated teachers were fully engaged in welcoming parents and other community partners joining the event. The
program kicked off with a solemn rendition of the National anthem and the Sugbo hymn, followed by a heartfelt prayer led
by Ma’am Cheerie Sungahid a grade 9 teacher.
Mr. Jeremiah Nudalo, Camotes National High School’s Faculty President delivered a warm welcome address, emphasizing
the significance of the Brigada Eskwela. The energetic atmosphere continued as Maam Julina Gica led a spirited Zumba
dance session with fellow teachers, fostering unity and enthusiasm among participants. Ma’am Madelyn Rodilla, our
esteemed Master teacher deliver the statement of purpose of Brigada Eskwela.
Moreover, guests such as Hon. Arch Stiven A. Soon Brgy. Captain of Southern Poblacion, GUARDIANS
BROTHERHOOD, CAFGU Troopers and Mr. Lindo F. Maningo the distinguished SGC Chairman, also shared inspiring
messages of support, underscoring the collective efforts and commitment needed for a successful school year ahead. Mr.
Lindo also led the attendees in a pledge of commitment, cementing their dedication to the cause. Partners graciously
donated resources, further enhancing the collaborative spirit of the occasion.
Parents, partners, and stakeholders enthusiastically go to their designated areas, engaging in cleaning and beautification
activities. Inconclusion, the seamless coordination and active participation made the first day of Brigada Eskwela a
resounding success, setting a positive tone for the days ahead.
