The structure of the game, being played on a half court with a 3-player team setup and a 1-player substitution, focuses on agility and teamwork. The time constraint of 10 minutes or reaching 21 points forces teams to play strategically, valuing both time management and scoring opportunities. The point system, with one point for shots inside the arc and two points for shots outside the arc, encourages tactical decisions between close-range scoring and riskier long shots .

Motivational speeches play a pivotal role in sports events by instilling a sense of purpose, energizing participants, and promoting values such as determination and sportsmanship. The speeches at the opening ceremony, delivered by esteemed guests including Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and Senior Principal Ma'am Manjeet Batra, aim to inspire the participants and reinforce the school's culture of excellence and unity. These speeches set a positive tone for the tournament, encouraging athletes to strive for both excellence and enjoyment in their performances .

It also provides an opportunity for students to be inspired by influential figures in their educational community, highlighting the values of respect and admiration for leadership in the field of education .

The basketball tournament is played on a half court with one hoop, and each team consists of 4 players, 3 on the court and 1 as a substitute, unlike the standard 5-on-5 full-court basketball games. Additionally, shots inside the arc are worth 1 point and shots outside the arc are worth 2 points, which is similar to standard rules, but the game is played until a team reaches 21 points or for 10 minutes, whichever comes first .

The tournament embodies the spirit of competition and unity by bringing together students from diverse schools in a shared event, fostering teamwork and camaraderie as they compete in a positive atmosphere. The presence of prominent guests and the motivational speeches aim to inspire and uplift the participants, further supporting the themes of competition and unity .

Event customs and traditions, such as the lighting of the lamp and welcoming speeches, imbue the tournament with a sense of ceremony and importance, creating a memorable and impactful experience for participants. Spectators play a significant role in amplifying the excitement and energy of the tournament. The presence of supporters from various schools adds to the competitive atmosphere and encourages teams to perform at their best. The document highlights the enthusiasm and support from the crowd as integral to creating an electrifying atmosphere during the games .

The half-court format benefits players who excel in quick decision-making and close-quarters play, as it demands constant engagement and adaptability. However, it might disadvantage players who rely on full-court strategies and running plays, as the limited space reduces opportunities for long-distance passes and fast-break tactics. Players with sharp shooting skills may find advantage due to the strategic value of 2-point shots outside the arc .

The logistical setup involves coordinating multiple teams and matches on a half-court layout, requiring precise scheduling and efficient use of space. Challenges may include managing the flow of games to ensure timeliness, accommodating team substitutions, and maintaining clear communication of rules and scores amidst a potentially vibrant audience. Safeguarding fair play and smooth operations in such a condensed format presents complex organizational challenges .
