Topic: identification of sound
When something makes a sound, it creates vibrations that passes through the
air and reach our ears. Our ears pick up these vibrations and send them to our
brains, which interpret them as sound. That's why we can hear different things
like the chirping of birds, the ringing of a bell, or someone talking or singing.
What is Sound?
Sound is something we hear with our [Link] can't touch sound,
but we can listen to it.
Types of Sound:
1. Good Sound: Examples: Singing, music, a bell ringing.
2. Bad Sound: Examples: Noise, a dog barking loudly, a car honking,
thunder.

Topic: sound
Sound is a form of energy that can be produced and heard.
It is made by the vibration of an object and the vibration moves through the
air and reach our ear.
The properties of sound are the physical properties of music that makes up
sound e.g Pitch. Duration, Intensity, Timbre
Week 3.
Topic: The properties of sound
1. Pitch: This tells us if a sound is high or low. For example, a whistle has a high
pitch, and a drum has a low pitch.
2. Duration: This is about how long a sound lasts. For example, a bell might ring
for a short time, while a song might go on for a long time.
3. Intensity: This is how loud or soft a sound is. For example, a big truck is very
loud, but a whisper is very soft.
4. Timbre: This helps us tell different sounds apart. For example, a violin sounds
different from a piano even if they play the same note.
Week 4
