In this study, we create an intervention to develop the
vocabulary skills towards the participants to play the
Wordscape app, an offline games. A wordscape game puzzel
to improve the vocabulary thinking. The purpose of
Wordscapes is to create words from random letters to fill a
crossword puzzle. You swipe the letters in various directions,
to form a word . This offline games the Wordscapes is
different than other types of games . However in this kind of
an app many or few of the students in grade 7 can create an
newly knowledge of Vocabulary in a spelling .
The vocabulary plays an important aspect in terms of a
spelling, by which a learner may have serious trouble in
understanding the message without a knowledge of the key
vocabulary in a spelling.
In this study, the researchers found out, some of the
students in grade 7 were having a difficulties of spelling in
vocabulary thinking skills. So the researchers gather an
intervention for those following students that is been
conducted in grade 7 in Tambobong Balacanas National High
School.

IV . CONTEXT AND RATIONALE
The researchers seek an research to focus on improving their spelling. This
survey is significant because in improving the spelling and been a good to
the words in a text paragraph, is a thing that is important and must be given
an attention. According to the DepEd order 47 series of 22 , it states that
vocabulary instruction should aim to engage students in actively thinking
about word meanings ,the relationships among words , and how can the
researcher use this Intervention in different situations.
In this study, the researchers conducted the intervention to those
participants of some Grade 7 learners in Tambobong Balacanas National
High School. Which the researcher team, guide the learners to our
Intervention the Wordscape app method in which instruct them in a foresaid
Intervention . By which the researchers team selected respondents to
guide , for which they made more progress in spelling.
The selected respondents of the researchers team is the grade 7 learners
for which they were more progress in vocabulary, because the researchers
have noticed that some problems is behalf in spelling . Where the
researcher main point is to improve their spelling. This aims is to ensure that
the students in Grade 7 that is addressed in this study in Tambobong
Balacanas National High School for improving the knowledge of the learners
definitely into spelling that is much be enhanced. According to (Jody B. Miller
Ma.) Spelling skills are fundamental requirements for students to reach up
high academic achievement.
According to (Mofareh Alqahtani,) teaching and learning processes have to
make it possible for the students to understand their learning material such
as word games. That is why the researcher created an intervention the
Wordscape App Method, for the students learning capability. Which is their
starting point in learning. Hence, to measure the ability of the students
learning development.
So, the students can learn to be a successful learner when it comes to
spelling . They can feel a unique way and directly comparable the
advantages of their presents learning materials in word games by
experiencing and learning it. This is such as a good thing to do, to help the
learners because of this kind of sayings, "Natuto ka na nga,Nag enjoy ka pa
". This expresses that it can give a unique way of learning. By experience it,
and try it. This Intervention express a fine and a good way of learning.
Learners have already learn , and the learners can create a new words.
According to (Luna Ansary ), she always tries the best way for teaching
about new learning and unique teaching in spelling class like revising it by
playing a word games .
She take an action to help the learners to enchance their study technique
by the word games and materials for teaching in the classroom.
According( Jimenez, RT. Garcia,) a professional reading strategy , to keep
the study active in mind , by playing a game or outside activity. To ensure
the students action in mind, to directly catch the lesson of their teachers.
They need to play and learn new skills, most of by words. They have a lot of
teachings for their learners by play, rhymes,and by watching.
The process in this intervention is to give them a pre- test survey
questionare to our respondents to find out their ability in spelling, by
teaching them to play and answer the jumbled letters in the wordscape app.
Second, the researchers team convinced the Grade 7 participants to
download the Wordscape App, because of this they will improve their
learning skills in spelling by continuously playing the Wordscape app game.
Lastly, the researcher have done to teach them on how to use and play the
Wordscape app . After all they answered the given missing word in the given
questionnares that we give to them. Meanwhile the researchers team list a
words they have done answered in the missing words in Wordscape app
game. Moreover, this is the researcher given pre- test to them, as a
spelling to recognize their learning skills . However after we acknowledge
them a post-assessment word puzzel spelling with a 20 item. And then, the
questionnares to see what they feedbacks regarding from the Wordscape
app game. And then,it is the ending of the researcher conducted
intervention .
Particularly the intervention that we have been discuss the Wordscape
app. It is an offline game that is a group of letters which to connect into
other letters to create an exactly correct words , which have been ask in the
missing words in order to complete the challenges on game. In this
particularly thing , the learners would be pursued more to think much better
for completing the following missing words . According to (Farisa
Chowdhury), games are helpful for so many part of learning. Learning
manners, physical education and learning new words too. Matching games,
which students match the word and the meaning or the picture and the
word, are the most common games for teaching spelling skills. This game
can be taken advantage of teaching . For which they made more develop in
order to improve their knowledge in spelling . According to (Martinson and
Chu ). Games are fun activities that promote interaction , thinking, learning ,
and problem solving strategies either a game is a system in which players
engage in an artificial conflict, defined by rules , that results in a quantity
able outcome. " Games are effective tool for learning because they offer
students a hypothetical environment in which they can explore alternative
decisions without the risk of failure . Thought and action are combined into
porpuseful behavior to accomplish a goal. Playing games teaches us to
strategize , to consider alternatives, and to think flexibility.
This states that by playing a games , definitely in the word games is
explains a good instrument by which improving the knowledge in spelling
words in vocabulary. Furthermore, the intervention in this study, express
that the Wordscape app is effectively learn from the students, because while
the researchers team conducted the intervention to them, even though that
some of the respondents have some difficulties in playing the Wordscape
app game, due for some of given challenges on the word were really tricky,
but they were suitable to answered the following missing words in the
challenges concerning the teaching and learning of’ spelling. According to
(Rixon, 1995, p 33), all those activities that we loosely think of as involving
play and enjoyment. By solving puzzles, model-making, games.” It is
evident that young learners learn through play much easier and they enjoy it
more. This is quite a natural way for them to learn. They play and love to
play. Quite often, the learners do not realize they are learning, and then
make a class test about new spelling skills like revising.
Due to Wordscape app is really a fun and challenging game in order to
think much better and develops a vocabulary in spelling skills . One of the
thing that the researchers study really works in conducted the intervention ,
is that the respondents got a high scores in taking the pre test spelling, a
ten (10) items ,after they have finished to play the Wordscape app.
According to (Imam Hussain), visual techniques for the presentation of
new lexical items pertain to visual memory, which considers helpful
especially with a spelling remembering. Learners can remember the
presented material far more effectively if it present-day by means of playing
word games. They help students associate presented material in a
meaningful way and join it into their existing system of learning. He teach
by pictures, drawings word , pictures , mime and gesture . He teach the
spelling skills increasing the necessity of the students in their social and
educational life.
There are many different methods and approaches how to teach , have
not been used exactly fixes method. He will mention just some of them that
could be useful for teaching young learners. To help the learners understand
it is important to visualize the item and get the learners to repeat or use the
item actively.
This expresses that the researchers conducted intervention is a good
thing for improving the spelling of the participants in selected Grade 7
learners in Tambobong Balacanas National High School . Thus , Wordscape
app is a thing that is fun in learners while playing the Wordscape app game
besides that it s fun , it could learn accurately by continuously using the
particularly intervention. This states for improving in the said main goal in
the researcher to improve the participants in spelling .

V. INNOVATION,INTERVENTION , AND STRATEGY
In this study , the researchers team is conducted the participants
of some Grade 7 learners in Tambobong Balacanas National High
School . The researchers find out for some problems in their spelling.
Moreover , the researchers team addressed this innovation the
Wordscape app method . According to Huyen (2003) and Mei (2000),
identifies the advantages of using games .
Games add relaxation and fun, so the learners retain words more
easily. Games involve friendly competition. According to Anna
Branagan (2002) it keeps learners interested and motivated games
bring real world context to the classroom. Emphasizes similar points
by saying that it encourages active which is the main goal for the
researchers is to improve their vocabulary skills in spelling. The
researchers team intervention the Wordscape app is a good thing in
which is the innovation in this study . The researchers conducted
this in the participants , they guide them on how to use the Wordscape
app and they assist them on how to play it, whereas after the
participants have done play the Wordscape app by answering the
following missing words question. The researchers have list a words
that the students have done answered , and serve as the pre test in
spelling . Where, this study facilitated by the researchers in one (1)
month of conduct the intervention .
The researchers conducted pre survey questionares and assist
the respondents to used the Wordscape app , and then give the pre
test spelling that is 5 - 10 items , moreover , the researchers team
suggest that they must try to download the Wordscape app , and then
a post test word puzzel spelling with a twenty (20) items, and survey
questionares . The approximately time in conducted of this innovation
is ten (10)minutes to twenty (20) minutes . Specifically the researchers
were list and recorded the outputs of the conducted study by the
processes of the intervention as aims the statement of this study.

The (20) Twenty Grade 7 students of Tambobong Balacanas
National High School were the selected participants of this study
that has been conducted a pre-test spelling and then a post
assessment puzzel spelling , will serve as the bases of the
Wordscape App Method on the results of the following given
questionnaires.

b. Data Gathering Methods
The researchers conducted Intervention the Wordscape app
method. The pre-test with ten (10) items was given to the Grade
7 student participants were answer the given spelling test after
they finished playing the Wordscape app game before the given
pre test that we conducted to them,and then, post- assessment
with a twenty ( 20) items was conducted, and then, the survey
questionnaires to seek their feedbacks regarding to Wordscape
app.

As shown in table 1. 0 in participants got the lowest score
and 0% in the total population, while second to the lowest score is
2 participants got 12-13 scores and 10% in the total population.
Then the third one , 3 participants got a score of 14-15 and 15%
in the population. Third to the highest score which is 5
participants got a 16-17 scores and 25% in the total population,
second to the highest score which is 4 participants got the 18-19
scores and 20% in the total population. Lastly, 8 participants got
20-21 scores and 40% in the total population. The results of the
survey questionnares are also give a positive feedback in
Wordscape app and the learner participants improvement
towards using this app.

REFLECTION
This study, focuses the Improving of the spelling skills in the
Grade 7 student participants within the Wordscape app Method. It
is conclude that significantly the Wordscape app is a good source
and effective way of learning a spelling . Particularly many of the
students got a high scores performance because this is precisely
successfully to conducted.
By this application they will get motivated to take advantage
to improve their spelling for without mistakes and corrections ,
but reversing method of learning processes because while they
were playing they never thought that they got practice to learning
spelling . This game application is really a fun and enjoyable
game . They will not stuffy or feel boring due to it is fun , in fact,
it could help them to learn spelling. On the other hand, .
This expresses that the Wordscape app game is effective to learn
. For which playing this could help connect the skills in letters and
familiarize to the letters in words in a text to create an exactly
correct spell . Which they see the words pictures and letters on
the game and connect to their mind and never easily to forget
the spelling of word . That is why word games could be benefit
to the students to improve their spelling abilities. For this case,
continuously using this application is they were develop there
spelling skills by simply using this game application .
