As a Mahar he had suffered a lot of exploitation and discrimination at the hands of the upper
caste and wanted bring out revolutionary change. He wanted to rescue the suppressed
classes from the yoke of brahmanism and casteism. Therefore for this Dr Ambedkar decided
to go from the root of the problem and that was to find out the origin of the Shudras. In his
book "Who were the Shudras" Dr Ambedkar talks about the principle of 'braided inequality'.
In his opinion he believes that the Indo-Aryan society has spoken about the four varnas.
