Cloud computing means using software that is installed on the Internet. You can also save your

presentations and other projects can be stored on clouds, data storage areas on giant servers on

software. Google Documents, for example, gives you a text editor, a slide show application and a

do not have to be better and more powerful all the time because all you need is a simple web
browser, like the Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Teachers and pupils, for example, might work on the same text together. Companies around the
world can work together on a single computer and do not have to send data back and forth. There
are, however, some things that make computer users sceptical. One of the big problems is
security. With cloud computing, you give your data to someone else. Users are also worried that
they might lose their data on other computers. In any case, cloud computing is marching forward

Eiffel tower is one of the most famous buildings in the world. Every day, there are hundreds of
tourists visiting to enjoy all the beauty in every side of it. The tower was built by an engineer
named Gustave Eiffel and became an important monument to celebrate the 100th anniversary of
the French revolution.

The French government opened the tower on March 31, 1889 and since that time, the Eiffel
Tower became an icon for the city of Paris and France.

Eiffel is also known as La Tour Eiffel or La Dame De Fer which means as iron lady. Known as
the iron lady because this is a building that is so graceful and beautiful. Then the building is also
strong because of the legs supported by iron.

Eiffel reaches 984 feet and when completed, it became the highest monument passed the
Washington Monument. Eiffel holded the highest title after 1930 when the Chrysler Building
built in New York.

However, the Eiffel Tower remained the highest in Paris and until now, there are more than 200
million people have visited it since opened.

To enjoy the Eiffel Tower, visitors can climb using the stairs or the elevator. In addition to getting
awesome scenery, they can also enjoy the delicious dishes of Paris through romantic restaurants
in the tower.
You need to know a unique fact, that the tower is considered as an eyesore for the people of
France when it freshly made. When Eiffel was built in 1889, the tower was intended as a
temporary building and will be demolished 20 years later. However, when it was useful as radio
transmitters, it eventually still be allowed to stand.

To build it, the French government had to use 18,000 pieces of iron and more than 2 million
nails. Although it was very risky, but the development kept to be continued.

Today, it has been regarded as one of the most beautiful architectural works in the world. Besides
its use as a tourist attraction, the building is also a communication tool for sending signals to

Last year, on my school holiday, my family decided to go to a city we have never been before.
This time, we picked Yogyakarta. From what i knew before i went to the trip, Yogyakarta is a
busy city that is filled with culture. It still have a unique government system called the keraton. I
also heard that it has a variety of culinary treats that i could try. Long before the trip, i was
already excited to go.

On Sunday morning, i arrived at Yogyakarta and went straight to my hotel which was located
near the Malioboro street. After that my family and i went straight to Keraton Yogyakarta. It was
a white, big building that stands near the town square. To get there, we went with a rented car.
There were a lot of stalls that sells crafts there so i bought a t-shirt and five keychain. Then we
went into the place with the ticket we have bought. The place was very beautiful. Although the
building itself is old, it felt timeless and grand. We studied the history of the place and the people
that lived there. Finally, we went out and ate in the nearby restaurant. The rest of the Sunday was
spent resting in the hotel so that we have the strength to travel the next day.

Monday morning arrived with it’s blue sky and golden sunlight. My father and I ran accross the
city in the morning so that we could get to know the city better. After that, we packed our bags to
go to Borobudur. It was a long trip but after hours of car ride we finally arrived there. The place
was clean and very spacious. From afar, we can already see the Borobudur temple from far away
because it is so big. My family climbed hundreds of steps to reach the top. By the time we
reached the top, it was already four o’clock in the evening. I couldn’t believe my eyes because
the scenery was so beautiful. The top of the Borobudur temple overlooked the whole city. I could
see trees and buildings for miles. With the sunlight, it was even more beautiful.

The next days we spent trying the food in Yogyakarta. My favorite was the bakpia which is a
kind of local dessert that is filled with a variety of fillings. The filling i like most is the cheese
one. Because i loved it so much, i bought two boxes of bakpia.

On Thursday morning, i flew back to Jakarta. I was really sad to leave the city because it was the
best travel destination so far. I wish i could go back to Yogyakarta now.

Beware of Ebola Epidemic

Recently, Ebola epidemic that attacks the West African region, causing the world’s attention.
WHO has released the data, there are at least 800 people who died after the Ebola virus. This
disease has a very high mortality rate, 90 percent of patients died. Unfortunately, vaccine or drug
to cure Ebola still haven’t found yet.

The Ebola virus was first discovered in Africa in 1976. Originally, the virus only attacks primates
such as monkeys and apes. But now, it has evolved into dangerous disease because the ebola is
transmitted to humans. This year, the Ebola virus is raging, the number of deaths has been

The increasing case of the Ebola epidemic in West Africa in the 2014 caused anxiety. Ebola virus
which attacks the body’s defense system is similar with the HIV virus. Early symptoms are
similar to flu symptoms such as high fever, body weakness, muscle pain and headache.

The Most Deadly Virus

What makes Ebola virus became so dangerous is its ability to breed. This virus can agglutinate
blood cells, then this condition can inhibit blood flowing to other organs. If the organs lack of
blood, it will cause some damages. After attacking the blood, ebola virus also attacks other
organs, such as kidney, brain, intestine, liver and so on. Many of ebola patients died because of
kidney failure.

Very Fast Transmission

Ebola virus transmission can occur from a contact of body fluids, blood, and all the things that
have been used by patient. Therefore, ebola patients must be isolated in order to avoid a direct
contact with other people. The medical teams who handle the patients also have to wear special
cloth in order to prevent the spread of the virus. Currently, a citizen of the United States has been
infected with ebola. Indonesian Health Ministry itself has issued a travel warning for the people
who will visit the countries of Guinea, Sierra and Liberia. There are some ways to prevent the
ebola virus. We have to keep clean and do not make direct contact with patients. Hopefully soon,
