Mechanical design of the heat exchanger:

Design objectives:

To mechanically design, develop, and optimize a shell and tube heat exchanger that
meets the operational requirements using Kern's method, following TEMA standards
and complying with additional relevant standards such as ASME BPV and BS/GPSA if
needed.
To employ the HTRI software for rigorous thermal and hydraulic modeling of the heat
exchanger.
To evaluate the functionality and performance of the designed heat exchanger.
