In the Edo and Meiji period of Japan...there were demons.

Foul and malevolent beasts who feast on

human flesh. But they were not invincible, the Sun is their Achilles heel. These demons have their own
hierarchy, the Twelve Kizuki, also known as the Lower and Upper Moon Demons.

In the same period, comes a wanderer who has a bloody and dark past. His name is Kenshin Himura,
but his enemies call him Hittokiri Battousai. He has killed hundreds and thousands of Samurais and other
warriors. But he's changed, he is now a wanderer seeking for redemption.

Once upon a winter's night, Kenshin was wandering outside a temple. As he walked, he saw an
ominous figure walking towards his direction. As the moonlight touched the man's face, Kenshin knew
that it was no man, it was a demon. It was the highest ranking demon of the Twelve Kizuki, Kokushibo.
He is wearing a purple-and-black hexagonal patterned nagagi kimono and has a long dark hair. But his
most noticeable trait is his eyes. He has three sets of eyes and engraved in his middle set of eyes are the
words "Upper Moon One".

Kokushibo was different from other demons, he has a human-like physique and he is reserved, silent,
and aloof, maintaining an aura of unnerving tranquility and mystery. As Kenshin saw that it was no
ordinary man, he immediately prepares to draw his sword.

Kenshin: What kind of monster are you?

Kokushibo: I know you... Battousai

Kenshin: Answer my question, I will not hesitate to cut you down!

Kokushibo: I sense death in you. Everywhere you go, it follows.

Kenshin: (Completely draws his Sakabato)

I am that man no longer, I am nothing but a wanderer.

Without a word, Kokushibo lunged forward, his sword flashing through the air like a streak of
lightning. Kenshin's sakabato met the deadly blade with precision, the clash ringing out into the still
night. Sparks flew as the two combatants pushed against each other, their strength and skill on full
display.

The moonlight seemed to intensify as Kokushibo unleashed the power of his Moon Breathing. He
moved with an otherworldly grace, his sword trailing silver arcs through the night air. The snowflakes
around him began to swirl in response to his deadly Moon breathing.
The fight intensifies as Kokushibo's movements became even more fluid and deadly. Kenshin's
sakabato met the Moon Breathing with difficulty, the sheer force of each strike pushing him back further
into the snow. Kokushibo's attacks now had an ethereal glow, and their speed was untraceable.

With each swing, Kokushibo left behind crescent-shaped trails of silvery light that hung in the air like a
beautiful, deadly dance. Kenshin struggled to keep up, his sakabato clashing with Kokushibo's blade in a
flurry of sparks and snow.

As the battle raged on through the night, Kenshin Himura found himself locked in an intense struggle
with Kokushibo, who continued to wield his Moon Breathing with relentless determination. The moon
was beginning to wane, and the first hints of dawn were breaking on the horizon.

Kokushibo, sensing the approach of sunrise, knew he had to escape. His ethereal form started to fade
as he attempted to retreat into the shadows, but Kenshin's desperation had reached its peak. With his
body battered and wounded, Kenshin summoned every ounce of his strength and determination.

"No, you won't escape!" Kenshin screamed with all his heart, his voice echoing through the temple
grounds. His sakabato blazed with a fiery determination matching the intensity of the rising sun. He
lunged forward, his movements fueled by a burning desire to end this battle.

Kenshin's sakabato struck Kokushibo with a ferocity that surprised even the demon himself. The blade
connected, and as the first rays of sunlight touched Kokushibo's fading form, he let out a blood-curdling
scream. His demonic flesh sizzled and burned as if it were struck by divine fire.

Desperation had turned Kenshin into an unyielding force of nature. He held Kokushibo in place,
refusing to let him escape the searing touch of the sun. The temple grounds bore witness to this epic
struggle between light and darkness, as Kenshin's strength and determination overcame the demon's
attempts to flee.

With a final, agonized scream, Kokushibo's form disintegrated into ashes, consumed by the relentless
power of the rising sun. Kenshin, exhausted and battered, fell to his knees, his sakabato slipping from his
grasp. The battle was over, the demon of countless lifetimes had been vanquished.
