the Lunar New Year - the traditional festival of the Vietnamese people, where

During this important holiday, it is indispensable to do the work that Vietnamese
people have maintained over the years to welcome a happy new year together.
1. Prepare Banh Chung and Banh Tet:
• Participate in traditional banh chung and banh tet-making sessions together.

Hello MRS Chef, Banh Chung is an extremely familiar cake in every family's
Tet meal. In the days leading up to Tet, everyone is already preparing to wrap
the cake and enjoy the first cakes, but I still haven't figured out the recipe to
create such a delicious and soft Banh Chung
CHEF:
Hello everyone, my name is Nhi and I'm currently working as a chef at a small
store called Food Look Good. Today I am very honored to be here to show you
how to make a very special dish for Tet. First of all, we need to prepare the
following ingredients: rice, green beans, pork, dong leaves, and some spices
such as pepper, salt, and sugar. Step 1 we will put the rice in water and drain.
Then, drain the water and shake it with salt. Next, we need to put the beans in
water for 2-4 hours, wash off the husk, cook, grind, and roll into small balls. In
the third step, we cut the pork into pieces seasoned it with spices, and completed
the preparation steps. Now we move on to wrapping banh chung, we need to
spread dong leaves on a flat surface and place a small bowl of rice, place bean
balls on top. Place 2 square pieces of pork in the middle, next to the bean balls,
put the rice on top, finally fold the square pieces, and tie them with bamboo
string, The next step is to boil them and put them in the steamer. water, bring to
a boil on high.
After the cake is cooked, take it out and immediately put it in a pot of cold water
to soak for 20 minutes. Then let the cake drain and then use a slightly heavy
object to press down on the cake to squeeze the water out, helping the banh
chung not become mushy and preserve it longer. Pressing within 5 - 8 hours is
enough.

is always a hard part for people who don't have too much experience like me, so

CHEF:
Cutting banh chung is not a difficult step, but how to cut banh chung most
beautifully and deliciously is something not everyone can do. Therefore, today I
will guide you through tips on cutting simple but beautiful banh chung to have a
delicious meal for your family!
First, peel banh chung leaves
The first thing you need to do is peel off the leaves from one side of the cake
and put it aside. Next, use the crackers to wrap the cake and then cut it into
small pieces so that it is not too big or too small and is twice the length of the
cake. Then, choose 4 soft, chewy strips, 2 small and 2 large, so that when slicing
the cake it is easier to distinguish.
Many people find it difficult to cut banh chung with crackers, so they use a knife
to cut it quickly and easily. However, this way can make the cake ugly because
you have to move the blade back and forth. In addition, cutting banh chung with
a knife also causes the filling inside the cake to break and fall apart, and the
sticky rice sticks to the knife and is difficult to clean.
To cut banh chung beautifully and easily with rice paper, place 2 rice paper
diagonally on top of the cake from one corner to the other corner of the cake.
Then continue to place the remaining 2 ribbons in the empty cake position on
the cake surface to form 8 fan-shaped wings. Next, take another plate place it on
the peeled cake, and turn it over to peel off the remaining leaves.
After the preparation steps are complete, we start cutting the cake. Take turns
cutting the cake by holding the two ends of the string diagonally and then using
force to pull it diagonally across the cake's body. Continue pulling the remaining
strings to create 8 beautiful and delicious pieces of banh chung.

Can you share some of your memories of this campaign?

We have been doing the campaign to bring Tet to disadvantaged people and
hard-working workers for many years. Every Tet holiday and spring, along the
streets of Hanoi, homeless people still try their best. enduring under that cold,
they looked very pitiful and pitiful. When I asked them what their dream was,
they simply answered that today they were full, so and my teammates I quickly
prepared special meals for them every day.
MC:
So why was that day's meal more special than any other day?

Ah because usually, we give away simple normal meals, but that day was the
last days of 2023 and everyone was busy preparing New Year's Eve meals to
welcome 2024 An idea flashed in my friends and me and we decided to prepare

This is a very meaningful action. Although my actions are not too great, in the
