Este primer tipo indica el tiempo que ha pasado desde la
última vez que hemos hecho algo. Podemos encontrar 3
formas de expresar esto:
I haven’t redecorated my house for 7 years.
The last time I redecorated my house was 7 years ago.
It’s 7 years since I last redecorated my house.
*Todas las frases indican que la última vez que
redecoraste tu casa fue hace 7 años.

En este segundo tipo indicamos que algo es “lo más”.
Cambiamos una frase con NEVER + comparativo por una
con EVER + superlativo:
I have never met a more intelligent girl than Sue.
Sue is the most intelligent girl I have ever met.

*En ambas indico que Sue es la persona más inteligente

En este último tipo indicamos el inicio de una actividad y
cuánto tiempo llevamos realizándola:

I have been working with computers for 10 years.


I started working with computers 10 years ago.

*En ambas indico que el tiempo que llevo trabajando


con ordenadores es de 10 años.
