1. Create your attitude scale by evaluating these statements about P.E subject at
Hanoi University:
A. Athletics are an important part of a holistic education. They are essential to
the mission of this school.
B. Almost every college in Vietnam has sports! We would be a joke if we cut
back on teams.
C. Sports are an unhealthy expression of aggressiveness and competitiveness.
D. Education should be about the mind; academics come first.
E. The school should INCREASE the number of sports. Make it accessible to
all students by offering alternate sports such as pool, swimming…
F. Since both men and women participate, sports are gender-empowering and
beneficial.
G. Sports participation requires dedication and perseverance, both traits with
lifelong application.
H. Too much money is spent on athletes; it could be designated for other
activities that involve more students such as academics, arts, or student clubs.
I. Lifelong fitness is more important than competition; we need more fitness
programing and less varsity teams.
J. Sports help with local community engagement, keeping us in touch with
alumni. Therefore, it’s fiscally responsible to invest in athletics.

2. Do a quick interview with 5 students about their opinion on a public figure.
Compare their response with your own opinion.
3. The "I Am a Good Person" Scenario
Objective: Understand how CDT influences self-perception and moral decisions.
Scenarios: “You accidentally see answers to an upcoming test and don’t report it.
Do you use them or pretend you didn’t see them?”.
Task: Decide what you would do in the scenario and write down your reasoning.
Then, reflect on how you might justify your choice.
