Community Leader
Job Summary
Under the Support team who assist with any community management issues, execute on new
initiatives from Team Dan Lok as necessary, and manage ongoing community moderation
activities.

This is a part-time job. Projected to be 15 - 30 hours a week with some weeks being a higher
volume of hours than others.

Responsibilities and Duties


- Lead a team of volunteers in assigned pods of 5 - 15 where you will lead a weekly 30 min.
meeting in agreed upon recurring time.

- Assisting the volunteers and coaching them to perform their responsibilities effectively. This
is done by responding to their questions, direct messaging them, challenging them to find the
information in the SOP. Helping the volunteers learn faster and maintaining a positive culture
within the SHIELD Team.

- In the designated shift period, as a Community Leader you will be expected to answer / clarify
/ coach the volunteers approximately 4 - 15 times per day.

- Help the Community Manager out on their day-to-day tasks with limited company access as it
comes up approximately 30 min. per week.

- Help the Head Community Leader with similar as above.

- Onboard assigned new volunteers using the Onboarding SOP after the Head Community
Leader has advised you of who they are and going through the SOP for Approving Facebook
posts and Team Shield Academy with them. Onboarding new volunteers occurs
approximately once a month with 1 - 4 new volunteers.

SHIELD Onboarding SOP


- Responsible for assigned volunteer pod communication. Checking their moderation activity
rate and making sure they hit their weekly KPIs. Do a weekly check-in by directly messaging
them. If you see a decline in activity according to the activity log at the end of the week, book
a 30 min. Call to see what the issue is and report to your manager.

- Report to the Head Community Leader as requested and to escalate any other relevant
reporting in order of ascending organizational chart.

- Attend and participate in all assigned company team meetings which includes 1 monthly
hour long whole team meeting, 1 weekly 15 minute long Head Community Leader meeting,
and your 30 min, Volunteer Pod meeting.

- Know all the inner workings of the platform assigned (Facebook or otherwise) in the way the
company uses it and any new updates or initiatives the company launches.

- Facebook: manage post and membership approvals in scheduled one hour block daily or
spread over the Pod time zone you are monitoring.

- Organise all necessary files and documents for the Community Team (including SOP
updates), for the Marketing team, and any other relevant team for core team Dan Lok.
Expected to occur once a week taking about 30 - 60 min at a reasonable pace.

- Keeping a consistent and up-to-date record of relevant student activities including but not
limited to financial success claims, email approval to use student posted materials like ads,
and any misbehaviour or recognizing behaviour in the group as per SOP taking
approximately 1 - 3 hours per week.

- Answer daily emails and Discord messages under support relating to the assigned
community approximately taking 6 - 8 hours a week.

- Send to Disharmony or Infringement Manager those members who need to be deleted,


kicked out or banned as necessary following the SOP given, daily, but perform as the reports
occur from moderators or members in Discord , Facebook etc or via Support tickets.

- Attending all live classes to manage the Discord support direct messages and moderate the
chat following SOP. This will be approximately a 5- 15 hour weekly commitment held over
2-4 nights.

Qualifications and Skills


- Overall Facebook (or relevant platform) knowledge and its workings including desktop, app,
and mobile versions.

- Able to problem solve and be resourceful to find answers for customers or team members.
- Able to communicate fast in a visual and text format.
- Able to function in both a team environment and as an independent worker.

Content Writer
Reporting to: CRO

The Content Writer’s responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed,
able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content. He/She is able to contribute to the
development of strategies that will increase audience engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, write and deliver persuasive copy for the website, email marketing campaigns,
sales and videos
- Build and manage an editorial calendar; coordinate with other content crafters to
ensure standards
- Measure impact and perform analysis to improve KPIs.
- Include and optimize all content for SEO
- Strategize on how to turn website traffic into leads and buyers, increase website traffic,
maximize repurposing of the content

website conversion copywriting that drive an audience toward action for engagement and
lead conversion. He/She is passionate about testing and optimizing creatives across multiple
channels. He/she is working closely with content experts and marketing team.

Responsibilities:
- Writing everything from Facebook ads, sales email campaigns, sales funnels,
blog articles and more
- Other duties as assigned

Oversee the content publishing needs in a fast-paced work environment. Working with a team
of copywriters and designers to develop and curate compelling and engaging content. The
primary duties will include content strategy, proof-reading and editing, analyzing data, and
developing content strategy.

Responsibilities:

An expert in the usage of email communications and develop marketing strategies and

drive profit. He/She works very closely with other departments and manages end-to-end
email marketing strategies.

You are the operator that bridges communication from the various Dan Lok brands to Dan Lok
Productions. Projects start and end with you. With your razor sharp attention to detail and ability to
speak up, you command resources for the production team and equally hold the production team
and its various contractors to the deadlines set. You deliver, that is your superpower.

Responsibilities:
- Running a YouTube Channel with over 2.5M+ Subs
- Coordinate with Marketing team to establish an objective for each video content piece
- Oversee filming and post-production work to ensure all projects are shot, edited and
delivered on time to the correct stakeholder
- Invoice processing for payment of external vendors for camera equipment, edit, sound,
stock content, and various production and post productions costs
- Work with Director of Video and Director of Production to plan out production shoots (i.e.
location, equipment, scheduling, etc.)
- Coordinate with the Director of Video and Producer to ensure all content that was shot,
makes it into the post production workflow
- Plan out resources for video assignments for the week in advance
- Communicates directly with the YouTube Platform Owner for programming decision on all
YouTube Channels
- Create and oversee project production schedules and work closely with Directors to make
sure internal and external deadlines are realistic and adhered to
- Other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:
- Potential for a 6 - 12 month long term contract with full time hours
