As a young lady growing up, my personal and educational goals are that I will study hard and get a degree , join the Ghana
Immigration service and make my family proud.

Describe your involvement and the outcome of one significant community leadership initiative in which you played a role

In Senior High School, I was an SRC prefect. One significant role I played was that I helped the school get a summer hut for
teachers to comfortably sit and get peace to teach students. My colleagues and I accomplished this by organizing an SRC
week to raise funds for the building and also, we got in touch with old students for their support.

What is your vision for your community

My vision for my community is to see a serene and a well developed community as well as a healthy neighborhood with all
the necessary amenities and facilities in it.

challenges.
If applicable, outline any specific challenges within your chosen industry or community that you are passionate about solving
through your academic pursuits

There are quite a few challenges I've encountered in the community which includes poor drainage systems, farness of
hospitals or clinics and poor road networks, just to mention a few.
I believe that through this scholarship scheme I may be able to connect with people with similar interest through which we
may work hand in hand to do away with these challenges. I'd really like to deal with the poor drainage systems in the
community so as to do away with potential cause of malaria and other sicknesses caused by waterborne diseases.

Outlook or Intended Impact

How do you envision that obtaining a Undergraduate degree through the GETFund Scholarship will contribute to overcoming
challenges and making a meaningful impact on both yourself and your community?

Obtaining a degree through the GETFund Scholarship scheme would not only add value to me as a person but also help me
enlighten the people of the community on the many ways the community can be made a better place because of the kind of
exposure I had through the scholarship.
