Geometry is a study of different mathematical shapes.

Eg: Circle , square, cube , cone

Shapes Properties
1. Square  It has 4 sides.
 It has 4 vertices.
 All the sides are equal.

2. Rectangle  It has 4 sides


 It has 4 vertices.
 Opposite sides are equal.

3. Triangle  It has 3 sides.

 It has 3 vertices.

4. Circle  It has no sides

 It has no vertices

Cuboid

In a cuboid every face is a rectangle .

In a cube every face is a square.

Cone

In a cone one face is plane and other is curved.

Cylinder

In a cylinder two faces are plane and one face is curved.

No vertex

Sphere

A sphere is all round .

It has only one face.

No vertex and no edge.
