Step-by-Step Guide to Create the Excel Worksheet

1. Open Excel:
o Open Microsoft Excel and create a new workbook.

o In the first row, create headers for each question and additional columns for

1. Input Data:
o Each group should input the collected data from their Google Forms into the
worksheet. For example, input "4" for "Strongly Agree," "3" for "Agree," etc.
2. Calculate Sum:
o Use the formula =SUM(B2:K2) in the "Sum" column for each row to calculate the
total score.
3. Calculate Average:
o Use the formula =AVERAGE(B2:K2) in the "Average" column to find the mean
score for each student.
4. Calculate Standard Deviation:
o Use the formula =STDEV.P(B2:K2) (for the population) or =STDEV.S(B2:K2) (for
a sample) in the "Standard Deviation" column.
5. Rank Students:
o Use the formula =RANK(L2,$L$2:$L$21,0) in the "Rank" column to rank
students based on their total scores.
6. Download and Upload Results:
o After completing the worksheet, each group should download the file from
Google Forms, save their results, and then upload the completed Excel sheet to
the designated Google Drive folder.
