Scene I
(Sound of fire crackers bursting,Aarav holding gifts and a box of crackers
on the stage )
Narrator 1: ( excited ) Yipee ! Yeh…. Priya I am so excited ,one of the most
awaited festival Diwali is just after two days and I am going to burst
crackers and exchange gifts. Wow ! What an amazing time of the year.
Narrator 2 :Really Aarav ? Do you think Diwali is all about crackers and
gifts?
Narrator 1: Ofcourse! Priya. Diwali is a big explosion of fun .Last year I
remember Shweta aunty gifted me a big box of crackers,my grandmother
gave me a sweet of box and hmmm…..
Narrator 2: Wait,wait !Aarav but do you know why do we celebrate
Diwali?
Narrator 1: What ? Do you mean there’s more ?
Narrator 2:Yes Aarav ,Diwali is not just exchanging of gifts and bursting
[Link] this auspicious day Lord Ram along with Mata Sita returned
back to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile defeating King Ravana .People light
diyas to welcome him and celebrate the victory of [Link] pray to goddess
Lakshmi for giving us [Link] most importantly ,we should
celebrate this festival in eco friendly way which my friends will be
showcasing further.
Narrator 1: Hmmm……now I understood Diwali is not just boom! boom!
Its also about being thankful ,celebrating with our family and lightining
diyas. So,now let’s come and pray together. I would like to invite our
respected Principal ma’am ,Headmistress ma’am , our coordinator ma’am
and few affectionate mothers for the prayer near the stage.

On this auspicious occasion of Diwali we the students of Grade I would like
to extend a warm welcome to our esteemed Principal maam,Headmistress
ma’am,coordinator ma’am and our beloved [Link] commencing
this event,I would like to invite [Link] ma’am to escort Principal
ma’am and Headmistress ma’am for the lamp lighting ceremony .

Narayan ji :” जब जब इस पृ थ्वी पर अन्याऐ का घड़ा भरने लगता है तब तब ईश्वर
धमम की स्थापना के ललए जन्म लेते है और इसी से रचता है एक नया पु राण ,जो यु गो
यु गो तक धरती पर मागमदर्मन दे ता है । और इसी रचना का एक महत्त्वपू णम
उदहारण है " रामायण "|आप सभी का अयोध्या नगरी में स्वागत है ,जहााँ
अयोध्यावासी राम जी का स्वागत घी के लदए जलाकर ,नाच गाना करके ख़ु र्ी मना
रहे है |

लकतना अलत उत्तम अलभनय था। लकतनी सुन्दर लग रही है हमारी अयोध्या नगरी।
यह सब प्रभु आपकी लीला है । जय श्री राम। तो आइए सब ताललयोों के साथ और
नाच गाने के साथ हम सभी प्रभु श्री राम जी ,सीता माता का स्वागत करते है । जय
श्री राम जय जय श्री राम।

मे रे प्रभु की जय जयकाल हो। राम जी का अलभषेक हुआ ,आपके चरणोों की धूल से
अयोध्या पलवत्र हुई। और हनुमान जी ने राम के प्रलत अपनी भक्ति , लवश्वास और
साहस से अपना जीवन समलपम त लकया।

आपकी रक्षा करना हमारा धमम है प्रभु राम और इसी पावन अवसर पर हनुमान जी

Narrator 2: Wow ! what a splendid performance Aarav. As we celebrate
the festival of lights ,lets also illuminates our path towards a sustainable
future and go eco –friendly.

1. For decorations:Use handpainted diyas and candles,DIY paper
lanterns.
2. Use natural flower garlands,clay or metal holders for rangoli.
3. Use of handmade paperbags,avoid using plastic bags.
4. Spread love and kindness by exchanging homemade sweets and plant
sapling .
So lets, shine bright with eco friendly practices and create a cleaner,
greener world.
Now , lets welcome our friends of Grade 1 fabulous for a
spectacular dance performance and wishing you all a
HAPPY,HEALTHY and ECO FRIENDLY DIWALI .
