PRODUCTIVITY RATES FOR INFRASTRUCTURE ACTIVITIES
Producvity rates are essenal for esmang the duraon of each acvity. These rates can vary
based on numerous factors such as locaon, labor skill level, equipment efficiency, and
environmental condions. Here are some general producvity rates for infrastructure
construcon acvies:
Earthwork
• Clearing and Grubbing
o Manual: 0.2 - 0.5 hectares per day per team
o Mechanical: 1 - 2 hectares per day per machine
• Excavaon
o Manual: 1 - 2 cubic meters per worker per day
o Bulldozer (D6/D7): 100 - 150 cubic meters per hour
o Excavator (20-ton): 80 - 100 cubic meters per hour
• Embankment Filling and Compacon
o Compactor (10-ton): 150 - 200 cubic meters per hour
o Dump Truck (10 cubic meters): 4 - 5 trips per hour (depending on haul distance)
Drainage and Ulies
• Pipe Laying
o Small Diameter (up to 300mm): 50 - 80 meters per day per crew
o Large Diameter (over 300mm): 20 - 40 meters per day per crew

PRODUCTIVITY RATES FOR INFRASTRUCTURE ACTIVITIES
Note: These rates are indicave and should be adjusted based on local condions and specific
project circumstances. It's advisable to consult local construcon standards, historical data from
previous projects, and conduct site-specific assessments for more accurate esmates.
