PRODUCTIVITY RATES FOR INFRASTRUCTURE ACTIVITIES

Produc�vity rates are essen�al for es�ma�ng the dura�on of each ac�vity. These rates can vary
based on numerous factors such as loca�on, labor skill level, equipment efficiency, and
environmental condi�ons. Here are some general produc�vity rates for infrastructure
construc�on ac�vi�es:

Earthwork

• Clearing and Grubbing

o Manual: 0.2 - 0.5 hectares per day per team

o Mechanical: 1 - 2 hectares per day per machine

• Excava�on

o Manual: 1 - 2 cubic meters per worker per day

o Bulldozer (D6/D7): 100 - 150 cubic meters per hour

o Excavator (20-ton): 80 - 100 cubic meters per hour

• Embankment Filling and Compac�on

o Compactor (10-ton): 150 - 200 cubic meters per hour

o Dump Truck (10 cubic meters): 4 - 5 trips per hour (depending on haul distance)

Drainage and U�li�es

• Pipe Laying

o Small Diameter (up to 300mm): 50 - 80 meters per day per crew

o Large Diameter (over 300mm): 20 - 40 meters per day per crew

• Manhole Construc�on

o Standard Manhole: 1 - 2 manholes per day per crew

Ancillary Works

• Road Markings

o Painted Markings: 2,000 - 3,000 meters per day per crew

o Thermoplastic Markings: 1,500 - 2,500 meters per day per crew

• Guardrail Installa�on

o Metal Guardrails: 200 - 300 meters per day per crew

• Street Ligh�ng

o Pole and Light Installation: 10 - 15 units per day per crew
