BOOK INVENTORY SYSTEM

Project Overview:

The book inventory system aims to help librararies and bookstores manage their book inventory more

efficiently. The system will allow administrators to add, and edit, book or it’s price, managing book orders, and

view customer orders. The primary goal of the book inventory system is to design a user-friendly that can help

users save time and effort, and enhance the effectiveness of the book management.

Project Scope:

Here are some key features of the book inventory system include:

 Adding and editing books

 View customer orders

 User-friendly interface

 Crud operation is applicable

Functional Requirement:

 The admin must have a username and password to access.

 The system must display a user-friendly buttons and menus.

 The system should include different fields such as ID, Title, Genre, Price, and an image to upload.

 It should have buttons like insert, clear fields, update, and delete, along with confirmation text.

 Additional buttons like first, previous, next, and last to navigate through orders.

 Logout functionality.
Non-Functional Requirement:

 Accesibility: The system shoud be accessible to all user with disabilities, like button have alternative text

descriptions.

 Usability: The system should be user-friendly and with clear navigation and easy-to-use interfaces.

 Authentication: The system must be able to verify the identity of the admin using a secure authentication,

such as a username and password.

Conclusion:

The book inventory system present comprehensive solution for libraries and bookstores to efficiently manage

their inventory. With features like adding and editing books, viewing customer, and a user-friendly interfaces,

it aims to streamline operations. The inclusion of crud operations ensures flexibility and ease of data

management. By using a system, libraries and bookstores alike can track what book they have, add books and

update its price. The lessons that we learned during the development process is the importance of planning

for the system. Proper planning can help us to identify the scope and goal of the project and by creating a

development roadmap.
