Note : In the case of passé composé except for personne , nulle part , ni , aucun(e) the rest are
placed before pp

Personne nulle part ni and aucun(e) are placed after infinitif. The rest are placed before infinitif

e.g Je n'ai rien vu


But je n'ai vu personne

Il ne va aller nulle part

Il ne veut rien acheter

When you are answering in negative remember to start with Non.

Also change the subjects

Second person changes to first and vice versa

( Tu to Je and vice versa Vous to Nous or Je and vice versa)

Third person remains same

Change pronouns and possessive adj from second to first and first to second if present

Me to te and vice versa

Moi to toi and vice versa

Mon , ma, mes to to ton, ta, tes and vice versa

Votre vos to Notre nos and vice versa

Dem adj/ pronoun

Ce, cet, celui etc

After blank if there is qui or que or de use simple

If noun is plural but verb is singular use singular form of dem pronoun

If no noun is given use ceci in the first blank and cela in the second

Que veux- tu? ___ceci__ ou __cela

These are pronoms neutre...not supposed to be asked but just in case

Possessive adj / pronouns

Le mien, la mienne etc

_poss pronoun_____+ no noun

If preposition à or de is present change le and les of possessive pronoun as per the rule

À+ le= au e.g au mien

À+ les= aux e.g aux miens

De+ le= du e.g du mien


De+ les= des e.g des miens
