Presently, studying abroad is a controversial topic that often divides opinion. Some argue it could be
advantageous to develop problem solving skills. I completely agree/disagree with this statement, and
will explain it further with relevant examples in the essay.

One reason that I believe more money should be spent on the conservation of wildlife is that animals
are an essential part of maintaining the health of an ecosystem. If a species becomes endangered, it
signals that an ecosystem is out of balance. As a result, the loss of one species may trigger the loss of
others and may lead to irreversible consequences for the animal kingdom.

Another reason to state that (chủ thể) should (vấn đề) is (lý do thứ hai)… In other words, (giải thích

In conclusion, having looked at the topic in detail, although it is true that there are valuable uses for
funding that could aid environmental protection, on balance I am of the opinion that governments
should invest in the protection of endangered species. The main reason is that the protection of wildlife
will not only benefit the animal kingdom, but also the human race and the environment we inhabit.

Example:

It is thought by some people that English, which is now the most widely spoken language in the world,
may one day predominate over all other languages and result in their eventual disappearance. Having one
language would certainly aid understanding and economic growth but there will also be some
drawbacks.

One evident benefit to having one global language is that it would enable greater understanding
between countries. In other words, if everyone spoke one language, there would be complete
understanding between not only countries but all people throughout the world which would promote
learning, the flow of information and ideas. Another reason that one language would be advantageous is
that it would help economic growth. With all people speaking the same language, there would be fewer
barriers and therefore trade would flourish between countries, resulting in a healthier world economy.

On the other hand, there are obvious disadvantages to having only one global language. Firstly, it
would mean that all other languages would eventually disappear and, along with them, their cultures. The
diversity of cultures is one of the joys this world has to offer. Each culture is unique with its own way of
life and own perspectives of the world which would all be lost if there were only one language. Secondly,
it would result in the collapse of tourism because there would be no reason to travel for pleasure and
interest if all countries had the same language and similar cultures. This would devastate many countries
economically that rely on tourism as a source of income.

In conclusion, while there are plus points to having one global language, too much would be lost as a
result. Maintaining local languages and cultures should be prioritized to ensure a rich world heritage for
future generations.

Traditionally, (view A), but some believe that it could be beneficial to (view B). While there are
both advantages and disadvantages associated with this topic, the positive aspects take precedence
over the drawbacks.

(Chủ thể) are better able to (verb – stronger side) for a variety of factors. First off, (lợi ích thứ nhất)…

Although there are a few disadvantages regarding the (vấn đề), there are a plethora of advantages
that outweigh the negative aspects. (Chủ thể) should be appreciated and fostered to their full
advantage.

Example:

Traditionally, children have studied foreign languages at later stages in their educational careers, but
some believe that it could be beneficial to introduce foreign languages earlier. While there are both
advantages and disadvantages associated with this topic, the positive aspects take precedence over
the drawbacks.

Young children are better able to learn languages for a variety of factors. First off, studies show that
young children pick up languages better than teenagers. The younger brains are, the more they are able to
retain information in the long-term. It has also been proven that young brains absorb material at a faster
rate. Additionally, implementing language lessons in primary schools would allow for more flexibility
within the school system. Younger children will be able to engage with the material more frequently
through shorter sessions, thus maintaining their enthusiasm and progress.

However, there are some disadvantages when it comes to learning languages at an earlier age. Primary
teachers school teachers may not be qualified to provide lessons in foreign languages, resulting in
inadequate teaching. This could demotivate younger students and give them a negative experience in
language learning. Further, school districts may not be able to carry on foreign language teaching from
primary to secondary schools. In this case, students would not only lose their progress, but they would
also be demotivated due to the lack of consistency throughout their educational careers. Despite this,
these issues can be effectively addressed through consistent support in the school district, and pose
only a minor threat to the advantages.

Although there are a few disadvantages regarding the study of a foreign language during primary
school, there are a plethora of advantages that outweigh the negative aspects. Young children's
innate abilities should be appreciated and fostered to their full advantage.

Health problems including heart disease, obesity, and diabetes are becoming more widespread in
developed countries. There are several reasons contributing to this problem, as well as potentially
drastic long-term effects.

Lifestyle choices are important and major causes of poor health in developed countries. These days,
it is perhaps easier and cheaper to follow an unhealthy diet. For example, the recent boom in fast food
restaurants and chains has enticed people to eat at these establishments rather than cooking healthy meals
at home. Stress is another factor that has contributed to poor health. The fast-paced corporate culture and
competitive work atmospheres make for a difficult work-life balance, resulting in little to no time for
eating healthy or taking care of oneself.

These lifestyle choices will have drastic long-term effects. If generations continue to partake in these
unhealthy habits, they will continue on for generations to come. For instance, parents who have
diabetes or are prone to obesity have a higher chance of passing these conditions on to their children, and
so on. Consequently, these health problems could result in a higher cost of living. Due to increased
demand for services, it is only natural that the healthcare industry would charge higher prices to its
clients, resulting in higher costs.

Poor lifestyle choices, ranging from unhealthy diets and higher stress, have certainly contributed to the
decrease in health standards. If not properly taken care of, these problems could cause harmful
long-term effects to future generations in terms of disease and a higher cost of living.

These medical advances would also help future generations.

Various measures can be taken in order to offset potential problems from (Summary of Main
Points). It is crucial that both individuals and governments work together in this venture.

Example:

People in industrialized nations can expect to live longer than ever before. Although there will be some
negative consequences associated with this shift, societies can take steps to diminish these effects.

The ageing population will bring about rising costs to society. As citizens age and grow weaker, society's
tax burden increases. If a large amount of the population is elderly and retired, pension costs and taxes
will increase, thus creating a burden for younger tax-paying individuals. Additionally, older members of
society will require more specialized care as their health worsens, which will bring about higher medical
costs due to increased demand.

However, there are some steps that both the government and individuals can take to mitigate these
problems. Firstly, an increase in the retirement age would offset increasing costs from older generations.
If people are able to retire later, the age for receiving a government-funded state pension would rise.
Additionally, this extra time would allow the ageing population to pass on knowledge and help train
younger workers in their respective fields.

Promoting programs and initiatives in the healthcare industry could also alleviate potential risks from
the aforementioned problems. If the healthcare industry prepares for the increase in the ageing
population, the potential problem of higher taxes could be avoided. For example, by promoting advances
in medical programs, elderly people may be able to live with better health standards and contribute to
society for a longer period of time. These medical advances would also help future generations as they
get older.

Various measures can be taken in order to offset potential problems from the ageing population. It is
crucial that both individuals and governments work together in this venture.
