When the class hear a sound of musical instruments
they are going to dance or move. If they hear an
animal sound they are going to freeze.
ELICIT Identify the source of light in the following pictures.
ENGAGE The teacher will group the class into 4. Each group will
be given cut-out pictures, and they are going to
assemble it within 5 minutes. After that, they are going
to create a sound base on the picture.

Ask the learners of the following questions:
1. From the given activity, what thing you have
assembled?
2. What is the sound of pig? Ambulance? Bird? Drum?
3. Listen to the surrounding, what are the different
sounds you can hear?
4. How did you hear it?
Have you seen Indigenous People such as Badjao using
this instrument?
In what way they use this one?
If they ask money from you by playing music through
drums, what should you do? Will you respect them?
EXPLORE Play different sounds to the class. Let them identify the source of
the sound.
Ask:
What are the different sounds have you heard?
What can you say about the sounds you just heard a while ago?
In real life, have you heard this sound like an ambulance?
When you hear the sound of ambulance, what do you think it means?
How do you feel upon hearing those sounds?
Is sounds important to us? Why?
EXPLAIN The teacher will explain or discuss the lesson.
ELABORATE Activity 1:
Identify the source of each sound. Choose the letter of the
correct answer.
Activity 2:
The class will be divided into 4. Each group have 5 pictures
under their chairs. They are going to find it and identify the
sources of sound made by it. The group will also create the
sound based on their assign source of sound.
