Summary:
The study explored how different mathematics teaching practices affect junior high
students' math proficiency at Mary Help of Christians College It assessed teaching methods
in goal setting, visibility of thinking, and student support, and measured students’ skills in
various math areas. Data was collected from 162 students using an online survey and
analyzed to determine the relationship between teaching practices and student performance.
Hypothesis:

Methodology:
The study employed a descriptive research approach to explore the relationship
between mathematics teaching practices and the mathematical proficiency of junior high
school students at Mary Help of Christians College Canlubang.
Findings:
The study examined the impact of mathematics teaching practices on the proficiency
of junior high school students at Mary Halp of Christians College. It aimed to evaluate
teachers practices in various aspects and measure student’s proficiency in critical areas. A
descriptive research method was used with data collected from 162 students through an
online survey using a five-point Likert scale. The results indicated that students viewed
teaching practice as highly effective and demonstrated strong mathematical skills.
Additionally, there was a moderate correlation between teaching practices and student’s
proficiency. The study suggests conducting further research with exam-based assessments to
verify these findings.

The strengths of this study it clearly aims to exofore the relationship between teaching
practices and student proficiency. And The research questions are well-defined focusing on
specific aspects of teaching practices and student proficiency. While the weaknesses of the
study is the opening sentence is repetitive (The study focuses on the study...", which can be
simplified for clarity. And There are several grammatical Issues such as missing articles (the

Summary:
This research study, "Student's Anxiety in Math," investigates the relationship between math
anxiety and math achievement in Grade 11 students at Jagobiao National High School. Using a
quantitative approach and a checklist instrument, the study found that most students exhibited an

Methodology:

11 Senior High School students at Jagobiao National High School using a descriptive-correlation
approach. It includes all 148 Grade 11 students from the General Academic Strand (GAS), Humanities
and Social Sciences (HUMSS), and Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strands. The study
will utilize the Checklist Survey Questionnaire R-MANX, adapted from Mutawah (2015), to collect data.
Researchers will seek consent from students to participate, aiming to gather quantitative data on how
math anxiety affects math performance.
Findings:
The study titled "Student's Anxiety in Math" investigated the connection between students' math
anxiety and their math performance at Jagobiao National High School's Senior High School Department.
The survey results indicated that most Grade 11 students experience high levels of math anxiety and
generally perform poorly in math. The data showed that students with lower math performance tend to
have higher anxiety levels. However, the chi-square test result of 6.61 with 4 degrees of freedom
suggested that there is no significant relationship between math anxiety and math performance, leading
to the rejection of the null hypothesis.

several grammatical errors and awkward phrasing that could affect readability and comprehension. For
instance, "mathematics became" should be "mathematics has become," and "the study focused on the
association between the levels of student’s anxiety in Math and their mathematics achievement" could be
clearer. And The text lacks details about the sample size's representativeness and the generalizability of
