Building and maintaining professional relationship has been an essential part of my career, it is
a basic foundation for effective leadership, I have constantly applied my capability to unite with

build and maintained professional relationships and how I intend to capitalize these
masterfulness in the future particularly through my chevening program.
In my current rank of Head Master of my Village Primary school, I had the chance to work with
various governmental and non governmental organizations,including members of local
education authority, UNICEF, USAID, MDGs and World Bank. Each with separate duty to promote
teamwork and ensure success in all educational programs, I initiated a conferences given room
for open discussion, respect and listens to members ideas. Through valuing their comment and
experience, I have established respect and trust within the group, which has surely resulted in
boosted teamwork and effective programs results.I foundThese links up and partnership very
important to my programs success, my personal progress,and professional development.
More over, I involved in professional events, seminars and workshops organized by UNICEF and
other health intervention organizations. During this occasions I curiously approach experts
about their experiences. I made insightful questions and attentively listen, seeking to knew their
and understand their point of views. Through these, I was able to built a strong network of
health experts and colleagues whom I can return to for discussion, advice, teamwork and
knowledge sharing. One remarkable example is when I connected with UNICEF staffs at
community health seminar in Azare town. Our consultations eventually led to my appointment
as the UNICEF health extension worker in my village.
Further more, I intended to utilize the relationship building skills during my commonwealth
program in the UK, I aimed to ultimately interact with my fellow scholars, department and
faculty members and other members of my chosen institution. I also planned to organize and
take part in academic events, creating an conducive environment for knowledge sharing.
Through involving in mutual relationship and helping each other, I wish to foster useful
interaction, relationship and teamwork among scholars.
Additionally, Commonwealth scholarship is a great chance for me to multiply my relationship
building skills globally. I will have the opportunities to interact with experts, entrepreneurs,
academics, and other professionals in the UK who can provide whom can provides unique
experience to promote my professional development. Via these links up, I aspire to bring back
helpful experience and knowledge to my home country Nigeria. Enhancing multinational link up
