WEDDING PROGRAM REVIEWED
1. Processional Hymn:
There shall always be a Processional Hymn to usher in the
bridal train.
2. Offering:
No Offering should be taken in wedding services.
3. Altar Call:
There should be no Altar Call during Weddings
4. Pastoral Blessing of the Union:
Deuteronomy 28:1-13 shall be read as the prayer of blessing
with the congregation echoing “Amen” at the end of each
verse (the congregation shall stand)
5. Signing of Marriage Register:
The signing of the Register is to be administered after
Pronouncement as shown in the attached.
6. Announcement:
The Announcements shall be taken before the WORD
7. The WORD:
The Minister taking the Word is to emphasize the
Covenant Roles /Obligations of Husband and Wife
according to Ephesians 5:22-25 in their Message.
The Minister taking the Word will also close the meeting.
8. Recessional Hymn:
There shall be a Recessional Hymn to close the wedding
programme.
